This game is a blast I love it it’s fun, it looks good, it runs well the controls are easy to learn overall it’s a great game, but there is somethings I gotta honk need to be changed and added. I think paying 10-8 dollars is a bit much as well as having to pay for paint jobs i understand they need to make money but I feel 10 is a bit to much if it sells at 10 I think you should have the paint jobs as default sort of as a once you buy it you get everything that comes with it I also think there should be an easier way to get the currency if you don’t want to spend the money that’s basically all of the things I think should be changed, but over all a good game another I think would be cool is if you added the feature to use a controller as part of the control list. But overall I would rate this game a 8.5/10 this is the best mobile pvp pve games out there that has great graphics and holds good FPS

  • Honest review

This game is honestly a lot of fun, especially for being a free game. I can really appreciate the fact that there is next to no ads in this game and very minuet micro transactions.

One mechanic I’m not exactly thrilled about is the fuel system. You can play one combat mission per fuel and can store up to three at a time. The only way to get it back is to either buy more or wait about an hour to get one back. I understand why they do it and it’s to stop people from upgrading their planes too fast, but restricting people from playing the game isn’t an effective way of achieving that. One way to remedy this could be by only allowing the player to earn credits when the player has fuel but let them play the combat missions as many times as they’d like. This is the only reason I didn’t give a five star.

Overall great game and worth and download and try!

  • Pretty Great!

I’ve been looking for a good fighter simulator, and this is where I found it. Amazing graphics, cool planes, and great gameplay environment. The multiplayer option is a blast! A few things I would like to see: level-type stuff in single player mode, instead of just do whatever against the CPU’s, and go for a high score. Next, I’d like more options for the person that doesn’t want to drop $10 bucks on some decent upgrades. They need to lower the Alliance Credit (in-game currency) cost of things, and give you more free fuel tanks (single player flights). Another thing is I’d like it to be more focused on the player in single-player mode, so less involvement by the cpu “wingmen”. Overall, it’s fun and realistic, and I like it!

  • Fantastic!

This game is honestly terrific. The planes are historically accurate, the terrain is beautiful, and, of course, the actual gameplay itself is enjoyable. Nothing quite like shooting an enemy airplane out of the sky and watching them fall to earth in a blazing fireball! While the Bering Strait and Cold War levels are fun, I find the WWII levels to be frustrating. It’s much trickier to blow up your enemies when you don’t have auto-tracking missiles. Of course this just adds to the realism, but it’s still a bit of a pain. Luckily, the in-game currency is transferable between level sections; i.e. you can earn currency in a Bering Strait level, but then spend it on a WWII plane, if you were so inclined. I’ve heard other players complain about the fuel tanks, which I have to admit, is a bit annoying. You get three fuel tanks, and each one takes an hour to regenerate. However, I’m not too hung up about it; normally, I just play something else. All in all, this game is great, and it’s good to see it’s still being updated! 👍🏻

  • I love it WOW! iPad Pro 11” 1TB BEAUTIFUL!

First of all, I’m playing this game on a iPad Pro 11” (1TB) model. And this is one of the few games that actually supports my device’s native resolution and I get a beautiful full screen, without any ugly black bars that even BILLION dollar game developers, cannot seem to take the time to get it right lol..THIS GAME DOES. It actually utilizes the power of my device, and runs butter smooth while doing so! I’ve owned my iPad Pro 11” 1TB since around January of 2019. This is the first time I’ve ever felt my iPad get warm lol. Not hot, but just warm, yes the first time ever! Lol! So, that tells me this game is using my iPads beastly A12X CPU, and wicked awesome GPU, and some of the 6GB of ram that I have. I love this game, I was just playing it for about 20 minutes, and I just had to minimize, and come back on the AppStore to write a review about it. Excellent game developers right here! Very smooth! Very fluid, excellent graphics! This developer needs to make a “First Person Shooter type game” they would blow PUBG out of the water! PUBG still has big black bars on my iPad Pro 11” 1TB and they’ve yet to add support for my native resolution even after nearly 5 months since launch. Thank you for making a game that shows off our devices so well! And please, try and make a different game GENRE. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!!!

  • Great game, but ultimately a huge cash grab.

This game is unlike manny others, its graphics are on par with PC games, it’s combat is easy to learn, and it has a wide variety of planes, but then a problem occurs, the game is virtually unplayable unless you buy the beta passes. Don’t get me wrong I love this game and I definitely do not regret buying the beta pass, but it was so infuriating having to wait a whole hour to play a game of single player, multiplayer is a huge hit or miss especially if you have a bad internet connection, not to mention most of the players in multiplayer player are bots (which is probably the result of little to no advertising
Why not cut the time to wait for new fuel tanks so people could learn the ropes of the game, then more people would actually want to buy planes, skins, and whatever other transactions you make. I know it must be hard to keep up the game when you have no ads to bring in funds, but people will stop playing eventually. And another topic is how come skins cost money? Why not just let us buy them with the coins we earn, that’s my two cents.

  • Needs work.

It’s fun, I paid to 99 for everything and it’s buggy. First, you can’t chat with them like they constantly tell you to on splash screens. They say try HUD colors for modern planes under options, graphics. There isn’t that option. The next biggest problem is connectivity. It is constantly bouncing you out of the game back to your Apple TV main menu. That’s irritating as heck. Sure it’s the only real flight game in town for Apple, and I love playing it however, they won’t answer email for support and most of the features are “Coming Soon”. They got this game App off the ground and in the air, but they are doing a crappy job of keeping it in the air, so to speak. They will either abandon developing this game, if they haven’t already already, or get shot out of the air by competition, or get their game in gear and start delivering on their self proclaimed roadmap of were they want you to think the game is going. As a top member, I have zero way to communicate with them, even though they proclaim I can. I reached out to them to no avail over a week ago, now this is my opinion of them. They could have prevented this review.

  • Really Nice Flying Combat Game

I just purchased a week ago and still getting used to the game. So far not hard to play and understand all functions. Great graphics especially in Ultra, flying physics are ok but still reviewing, game play ok too. The app appears to be in Beta, the developers request donations which will increase app capabities and allows for further app upgrades. There is a lot of room for additons, the developers listed areas that they plan on adding to the game. The areas they listed look real good and will make the game excellent. In app purchases not too bad but could get costly if purchaseing new aircraft. Hopefully it wont cost much in future upgrades.
It would be nice if the fighter jet could roll all the way over but not an issue. The views are good. Adding a touch control to tilt steering would helpful. On my Ipad pro the jets lag slighty when tilting the ipad, but again not major but I will continue to play and see if I missed anything. Overall great game with enourmous potential and I will continue to play. DEVELOPERS please add the addtions you plan soon. Thanks

  • It’s Ace Combat on the go!

I only own an Xbox so for the longest time I’ve been looking for a good flight combat game - and sadly the XB1 doesn’t have one. But I never expected to find my air combat fix in the App Store!

This game at present features several dozen unlockable aircraft and 3 eras split into a dozen mission types to play. The graphics are gorgeous, especially the ground and atmospheric effects. The flight physics lean more towards “arcade flight game” than “true simulator”, but there’s still enough realism here to make the flying feel authentic. Smooth, precise input is key. Speaking of inputs, you have a variety of gyro and touch screen controls to choose from as well as 3rd person and “virtual cockpit” views (no simulated 3D cockpits yet. That’s my #1 on the wish list.)

Combat is fun and challenging with weapon mechanics and aircraft performance varying greatly from era to era, as they should. Aircraft take about a dozen gun hits or 2-3 missiles to take down, with aces taking more. If you run out of ammo you’ll need to wait a few moments to reload. Not so arcadey to be ridiculous, but not so realistic it’s dense and boring. This game has the perfect balance.

Although Alliance is a fantastic app and definitely worth your time and money, it has a lot more content coming. Download it, drop a few bucks on a plane you like (or play enough to unlock it with in game credits - another great thing about this free app) and have a blast.

  • Small changes needed but awesome

This game is absolutely amazing. I have long been looking for a good solid dog fighting game in the air that doesn’t look like something pulled from a cartoon or a comic book and I found this. It looks so real and I like how you can see the missiles and enemy planes going down. They don’t just become invisible and disappear. A few changes that should be added are fpp inside the cockpit and actually seeing missiles hit u and gave visible exterior damage after being hit. Like if you get hit in the wing, the wing falls off and a fire starts where the wing was. Then u have to play with one wing until u go down. Also if u get hit in the main body of plane, it should at least be on fire- not just smoke from the engine
