Awesome game
I was a little hesitant to pay for this game after reading some of the reviews. But this is a great game for the price. Haven't put it down since I starting playing it. Looking forward to updates!!
Awesome game
I love the game so far but a little suggestions is that you should add a multiplayer dog fight and a free mode so you can explore the Galaxy other wise i love this game
Crap
Last time I get suckered into paying for Crescent Moon games. Tried to support you but quality keeps dropping. Your model is broken and you need to stop fooling devs and players.
Could be great
I give this one three stars and not four because of one thing: you can't dock for repairs without failing the primary mission. This makes it almost impossible to enjoy the open world aspect of the game, or to upgrade or change your weapons without hassle. It's like oh I'd like to mine some resources for extra cash and equipment but I can't because docking for those missions makes me fail the primary. I also encountered an issue where the game would crash every time I made a jump so I had to repeat the same mission three or four times. If those things were changed I would give this game FOUR STARS. If they changed that and upgraded the graphics like GoF 2 HD then I would give it FIVE STARS. I like this game and I paid $4.99 for it so I hope they can find the time to fix these issues and make it a great game worthy of $5.

Not finished
The game obviously intends to become a successor to GOF, which even do it was free to play, it was still a good game. This game on the other hand is not finished. The missions often don't work properly, the menu screens are worse than that of airport simulator's, and it has this rpg element that really hinders the gameplay experience. The map and hud are also confusing, and really look bad on a game like this. With a bit more work this could be a great game, but as it stands, it should be a free game

Looks fun but controls keep locking up iPad pro
When I use the d pad or virtual controls they lock up and the ships direction can't be changed there is no issue with tilt to control but that's not helpful if it has a keyboard case attached otherwise it looks interesting
Pretty solid game
I know it's brand new, and based on the existing reviews I hesitated in buying this one. After playing for a few hours, I'm glad I did!
I want to respond to the other reviewers' main issue. They said sometimes when you get close enough to a space station or a warp gate, the button to engage doesn't appear. This is true, but it's not a glitch. You just have to make sure you have the station or gate targeted first. Put it in the center of the screen and tap on it. Problem solved!
This game is fun and I'm having a good time with it. It earned its five stars, though I could recommend a couple minor changes to add some polish. When targeting ships, stations, and gates, I would like to see a target button rather than having to tap on the actual object. I would also like to be able to bring my ship to a stop when mining. Currently I have to go in reverse so I don't crash into the asteroid.
I have experienced one minor glitch. My control stick got stuck. I had to switch to tilt controls to get to a station. It was fine after that. Only happened once.
All in all, great game! I'm eager to see what changes when an update comes out!

Unplayable
I want to like this. I was a huge fan of GoF2. The controls and visuals in Stellar Wanderer are very similar which are a plus.
The problem is the level of difficulty in the beginning of the game is set to "nearly impossible". There is no way to explore, mine or do any side missions to build up your ship. If you don't stick to the mission, the player gets a failure message and the title screen before having to repeat the process all over again.
As a result, this game is like a reoccurring nightmare in a beautiful setting. I wouldn't recommend buying it at this point.

Pretty dull
To be honest, I got bored after about an hour and gave up.
Super frustrating
Looked pretty but the controls were super sketchy and even locked at one point. Will delete, Don't waste your time or money.
