Not customization for beam type selection
When creating a new profile, I found confusing to select between « trail running, trekking, bivouac, etc » modes. What does modes means exactly in creating a custum profile? Well I figured out these modes refers to pre-selected beam types usage according activity types. There are no way to customize precisely « wide beam only », or « spot beam only » or « wide and spot beams ». So even by creating a profile, the app does not allow you to fully determine the beam types. You’re ending with pre-selected beams with activity labels...without knowing what will be the end result. A bit deceiving.

iPhone X disaster
Did anyone bother to test this on the iPhone X? You can't even close the onboarding slide flow because the "X" to close it is to high and falls behind the upper right signal/battery icons.
Additionally, the you can't click between the "Petzl" and "My Profiles" tabs at the top of the Profiles page. I'm guessing this in another iPhone X isssue because the Petzl logo in the upper right is behind the signal/battery icons again.
Come on, these issues should be caught before pushing it to the app store.

Connection problems? Try deleting your NAO+ lamp in the Settings app
I had a lot of problems with the app not connecting to my NAO+ lamp (intermittently). The developer helped me, directed me to go to the Settings app, Bluetooth, then find the NAO+ lamp and delete that from the list. Then go back to the Petzl app and re-search for the lamp, re-add it, and then it worked perfectly. Not especially intuitive but the fix does work! Thanks for your help, the developer was really helpful.

Will not re-pair with iPhone
I removed the headlamp from my app and now it will not reconnect. It connected to my iPad, but will not reconnect to iPhone. Makes the headlamp a bit useless, because I can no longer change on the go (who brings an iPad where you need a headlamp).

This app gets 5 stars for the loaded profiles and the ability to change the settings whilst out, but the modify section just doesn't want to save my profiles. You can make the profile, save the profile, load the profile then it just wipes the profile and its blank.

Works, minor phone battery drain
The app works as advertised, allowing changing of settings on my headlamp. I'd not purchased the headlamp thinking I'd use the app/Bluetooth feature much, but it's actually more useful than I'd expected.
It's nice to be able to get a quick clear view of the battery state, and time remaining on the headlamp.
The app uses up quite a lot of phone battery while the headlamp is on and paired, even while you're not using the app itself.
The way to get around this seems to be to disable Bluetooth on the headlamp when you're not using it with the app.
I hope that a future app update might reduce the battery usage while not using the app.

Paired my petzl headlamp in about 5 seconds. The settings are easy to use and feels like a well made product. Thanks!
Buggy but works
It crashes ever time I go live. When I try to create a custom profile, it frequently crashes and fails to save.
But I was able to program my light, and I love my Reactik+.

Kick out
This new app is great in the sense that it's very convenient and that you don't have to connect via USB to your laptop to customise your settings. The only issue is that every time I want to SAVE or UPLAOD new settings, it kicks me out of the app making it useless really. Please update me with a fix or resolution.

Rough around the edges
Like the concept, interface, and find the functionality basically there. But there are enough glitches to make using the app frustrating and confusing (i've only played with it for an hour so far, so maybe I'll get the hang of it with more time, but I think it shouldn't take that long for something this basic). Glitches include: when changing settings in a profile, sometimes they won't be reflected when looking at the profile again without force quitting and restarting the app; sometimes certain elements of the interface will become overlapped. More generally, there is no documentation and the differences between the beam patterns and the different profiles it's not always that obvious.
