  • Could be great app

This really could be a great app but needs some more major improvements.
    1. Please add two more frets so a total of 24
    2. I was going to print my tabs and tried every possible way to export them (Notes,PDF Expert, iCloud Drive). Nothing is in line it's just a mess every time I select print. I even contacted the developer with screenshots but never got a responds.
    3. Copy and paste is not intuitive at least for me.
    4. Add two more buttons to move single steps back and forth.
    5. Help menu does not work on I Pad. It would be helpful to add the help menu to each button.

I really like the idea of the app. The new features like the strum pattern and the sound are great.
I really have no use for it right now since I can't print the stuff.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. I actually released a major update in January 2017 (v2..0.0) that I believe addresses all of your issues. It would be great if you could give the app another go and hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised this time. If not please feel free to drop me a mail as I am always keen to improve.
  • nice

This is just the tool I was looking for, simple no frills graphic tab edit. I like the fretboard user interface, just tap the fretboard pattern, and tab is generated. Much better than trying to edit tab in a text editor.
  • Great app

Does everything I need, even custom tunings! Nothing else in the App Store is as easy to use and has all the same features.
  • Great little app for the price

A cool, easy to use tab editor for jotting down tab quickly. With a few enhancements this could be a great editor. Can't beat the price!
  • Nice little app, does what it says on the tin.

The app is great for quickly jotting down ideas on the go, but some improvements could be made:

    - I could not find an easy way to include shorter notes into a bar. For example, if the bar is split into half-notes, but I wanted two of those notes to be quarter notes. I achieved a similar result using the '-' button and doubling the number of Notes/Bar but this was time consuming, so support for different note lengths would be appreciated.

    - More time signature options could be added, while there is a fairly decent selection, variable number of time signatures would be much better (x/4, x/8, x/16).

    - The ability to change the tab by typing in a different number as well as using the current input method.

    - MIDI support would be great to listen back to the tab you've just written to check it's correct.

Besides these things, the app is very useful and is unique as being the only app I could find on iOS fulfilling this purpose well.

  • Amazeballs

Great way to get my tab digital.. No more paper to lose!
  • No option for drop C

Would be a nice app if any and all turnings were allowed. This only allows for open E and drop D

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that custom tunings were added a week after you submitted this review so I really appreciate it if you could reconsider your rating. In fact, there have been lots of improvements since version 1.1 which I hope you would find useful.
