I’ve been using this app for about a month and based on what I’ve seen and heard, this app needs a lot of work.
- many basic elements of a messenger are locked behind paywalls
- catfishes and scammers run rampant and there doesn’t seem to be much, if any enforcement on it.
- no method of rating users or putting users who create positive experience higher in the algorithm.
- blind match is a joke of a feature - messages cut off randomly, users are barely active in it, the questions are bizarre and often both answers are extreme or unrealistic, and the frequency of matches as promoted by the app is not realistic.
The potential for a good experience exists here but unless obvious issues are ironed out this app will just be a case of missed potential.Show lessAGW_44

The idea behind Meeff is great, but like any app whose premise is to help people make online connections, there are always bad actors who use it to scam or solicit inappropriate material. The Meeff Team could be more aggressive in their moderation. I have reported the same people multiple times for inappropriate photos, but it seems that unless the photo in question is their first photo, their accounts are never deactivated. Bad actors hide behind that loophole: their first photo is fine and then every subsequent photo is sexually explicit. I don’t know what criteria the Meeff Team uses to determine what inappropriate introductions are, but there are hundreds of accounts whose profiles state they are perverts looking to sell or exchange sexual content. These accounts never seem to get deactivated upon reporting them. It would be nice if the Meeff Team took the reporting of these individuals more seriously and also implemented some sort of account verification function on the app to help deter some of this behavior.Show lessFILIVS_PERDITIONIS

This app is so horrible they allow people who are Asian or any race day racial slurs they allow scammers on here they allow perverts on here if you try to report them they only let you report you and then they’ll ban you even if you follow their rules they still ban you they litterally banned me for no reason I followed all their rules and I reported the people who are scammers they do nothing you have better luck on other apps then in here most these people are fake people and most them are just who they are if I could this app 0 stars I would most of these guys are on here are actual creeps and like people underage or if your in 20s most of them will be disrespectful to you do you don’t give them what they want the app will stay let them stay you pay the price listen to people who are below five stars this app should be shut down they are wrong they don’t care for people who are real they don’t have where they have verification to tell you if the person is real or not most of these people aren’t real if you find a real person good luck to you but it’s so hard to find people who are real on there when 100% of them are scammers and fake profiles and using people who’s re famous pictures and will lie to you or ask you to be there sugar baby who where design this app this app shouldn’t on here anymore I don’t know how it got pass to be on the App Store because it’s horrible app regardlessShow lessghostriderinyourdreams

August 2023 Update:
So the meef developers found another way to to take money from you… so basically they created thousands of bots to add you, if you add one back, they never reply any of your messages. But you get 20 or 30 adds per day. It’s easy to spot them as they always have a photo of a hot woman, always speak the same two languages and never reply back if you add them. What’s the catch? You get so many invite per day that you try to block them, and guess what??? MEEFF have the magic solution… charge you more to block them!!!

This app could be good, BUT the amount of fake profiles and scammers is astonishing. I can get tired of reporting some obviously fake profiles or scammers that try to sell you crypto currency’s or weird investment and there’s absolutely no moderation at all! Days or even weeks after reported them the fake accounts are still there! Considering the annoying amount of adds and the expensive that’s everything in the app it’s unacceptable the lack of moderation!Show lessEcxk

This app is not good if you want to meet normal people to talk to. Most guys on here just want to have sex or dirty talk or are scammers. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyoneRara22Muck

Too many romance scammers BEWARE NOBODY IS REAL!!!
I downloaded this app to make foreign friends to learn Korean not realizing it’s set up like a dating app. I’ve had so many messages from men who are “on a peacemaker mission with the US Military lies. They also will try to hurry and get you on to another app to scam you. They make it like “they’re never on this app and use this particular app and can teach you there” After I research I learned that Nigerian men are using Koreans pictures to scam you into thinking your talking to a Korean man “that’s going to teach you their language” however their whole motive is to scam you. I will be deleting this app. I have not met not 1 real person that wasn’t a Romance scam! There needs to be something in place that make people prove their identity.Show lessTk225chick
