Only finds a few duplicates and takes forever
It takes forever to scan and stops if you go to another page even though it says that it will continue to scan if you minimize it, it doesn’t. So if you have over 3000 images its a wait of over 5 mins to just scan. And it missed lots of duplicates images.
Keeps crashing-not working
I heard this was a good app so downloaded it, and has been trying repeatedly over a couple of days. It will start scanning and a few hours later still be scanning, and then I’ll go back and all of a sudden it’ll be back to the beginning. Frustrating, how many times should I keep try in the hope that it might randomly work. So far has just been a time waster.

I downloaded the Remo app to use on my new iPad and immediately found it to be just what I was looking for to “ tidy up” my sometimes repetitive photos storage.
I then thought that I could use the system on my old Toshiba laptop where I have many thousands of photos which include thousands of duplicates, but that machine has operated poorly and then stopped functioning completely during the endeavour.
Fortunately I have those photos backed up to remote hard drives and u.s.b. devices.
While this attempt was being undertaken I was advised and helped by the team at Remo in a very helpful and pleasant manner and I am extremely thankful for their support.
When I obtain another Windows or Mac device I will be be very keen to use their software and services again.

Misses some duplicates
The app stops running if you go to a different page or screen times out. It says it will continue running and will send an alert when done but that does not happen. Other than that and some missed duplicates it works pretty good.
Efficient & Fast!
Very fast scan! Went through 4200 photos & screenshots within seconds. Great!
Not five stars due to: inability to clearly preview several items & makes it difficult to actually verify what you’re deleting.
Also- getting an “error” when stop “delete” action while continuing to review!? Not sure what action causes the pop up before ready to “delete all” (tapping something prematurely?)?
Appreciate most are in order by date.

OMG! Where has this app been?
Loved this app. So easy to use. I was able to open a picture and view it for comparison and return to folder view without deselecting my choices for the bin. The duplicates were exactly that a duplicates, so deleting was easy because this app won’t allow you to delete the original. Love, love, love it and it’s free. Took only half an hour to sort 9000 pics.

Good, but...
First off, this app takes forever! Especially if you have lots of pics. It may run in the background, but if you don't open it frequently, it seems to never move. And as far as letting you know when it's done...doesn't seem to work. I know I have a lot of duplicate pics that it never seems to pick up on no matter what settings I use.
Ran an earlier scan, but when it was finally done hours later, it wants to start a new scan. 🤬 Guess it's ok for what it is, but could be better.

Duplicates
Works very well!
Not the worst; not the best.
Could be better, but not the worst! I honestly don’t think this app is designed to scan huge volumes of photos in one setting. It misses A-LOT of duplicate photos; and hardly hits on the similar photos.
None of the “similar” matches are relevant. Some boxes have anywhere from 1-10 images and none of them are even remotely similar. For example a photo of a cat and a photo of clouds from the inside of an airplane. It relies too much on file size rather than the actual image.
Not sure why the app has different percentage levels of scanning, none of the higher percents really amount to anything. After 30% you’re just wasting your time waiting on a new scan.
However, it does help remove identical duplicates, and does show you the file sizes of each photo, and if you do delete it calculates how much space you cleared up! If you have a smaller amount of photos, I would definitely suggest this.
