Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback. This must be a misunderstanding. We’d like to provide some clarification to address your concerns and can confirm that this app is definitely no scam at all and helps thousands of users successfully to compress videos. All in-app purchases made through iOS apps are processed exclusively by Apple via a credit in your Apple account or payment method linked to your Apple ID or iTunes account. As developers, we do not even have access to process payments directly and it's not possible for developers to ask for payment details, nor do we have any visibility into your payment details. All payments for in-app-purchases on ALL Apple iOS apps are made through your Apple account. Even if developers wanted to ask for payment details it wouldn't be possible, as Apple iOS apps only allow payments through your Apple account and can't even ask for credit card details or anything else. Regarding the issue with saving the compressed video, this should not normally occur and we have tested it successfully on many devices. We’d recommend ensuring the app has permission to save videos to your device’s photo library, which can be checked in your iPhone’s settings. Sometimes you also have to close your photo library completly and re-open it again until it appears. We completely understand how frustrating this situation must have been and encourage you to double-check your purchase history in the App Store for more details. You can see in your Apple account settings all in-app payments and we think you might have confused this app with another payment from another app. Please check your payment history in your Apple account to see which app has really charged you for in-app purchases. In your payment history you can also request a refund from Apple. Thank you so much for using our app.
