Great app!
I had over 14,000 photos to scan. It did take about five hours to scan them all but there were over 1,000 duplicates which I could delete in seconds. It also gives you the option of going through them one by one. This app saves a LOT of time as I have done it the old fashioned way and it took weeks. I’ve just used it a second time as it’s been a year and it found another 200+. Can highly recommend.

Does exactly what it says
Pretty quick on analysing and processing a thousand photos. Recommended!
Works great and it’s free
I was able to get rid of 1100+ duplicate photos right away! I even went back to my Recently Deleted Album to double check them. This app found pics that I didn’t even know I had! From years & years ago! I even restored a few bc I swear it couldn’t be a duplicate...HA! I rescanned and sure enough! This SMART app found those restored ones as duplicates again! lol I was not able to preview the photos before deleting them however and that’s why I gave only 4 stars

Handy App
I had over 23,000 photos. Remo scanned in a relatively short time given the amount of photos. I was able to select those to delete. Very good, did not crash. Very happy.

After finally treating myself to an IPhone I had numerous duplicates on set up. Thousands of photos and videos doubled or more!! I tried Remo which initially failed the HELP team suggestions worked.
Their response was quick and easy to try even though this app had not been tested on the new iPhone SE, which they had pointed out.
So success all round for a great app with excellent support and a happy user with loads of freed up storage.

Mac synching duplicates NOT removed
This may work as advertised on photos that have the trash can icon available. However, those of us backing up and then synching to our Macs have developed a problem: synchronization over iTunes has developed a bug within the past year or so. It will sometimes send duplicate photos to your iPad. None of the photos have trash can icons available.
I have about 20,000 photos on my Mac in Photos, which come from uploaded photos taken with my iPhone and iPad. My Mac is the “Master source”. During uploading to Photos I select the option to delete the uploaded photos from my iPhone and iPad. Thus, after I synchronize with iTunes, almost all photos have one copy, and none have the trash can available (trash cans are only an option if the photo is in your Camera Roll folder, a decision that Apple made long ago - no editing and no deleting photos that came from the Master source).
Unfortunately, my last synching with my Mac duplicated 4000 photos. None have trash can icons, so none can be deleted manually. This Remo software only looks through photos in your Camera Roll, and cannot find the duplicates in other folders that came from your Master source.
Does anyone know if there’s an app to remove Photos from an iPad or iPhone that don’t have trash can icons?

Response from developer
We apologize for this experience. Remo Duplicate Photos Remover will scan for duplicates on all the folders on the device, it is not limited to Camera Roll folder only. We'll pass it along to our development team. Please share a detailed description of the issue, screenshots, device info and OS version to https://bit.ly/359ApdU so that we can help you fix it.
Wow Amazing
Used this app and found 88 duplicated photos, using 55.4mb, brilliant app
A proper duplicate photo remover!
I have tried other apps in the past only to find that they often found to similar photos and tried to tell me the had found duplicates.
I have now tried Remo and after it checked through my photos it found 146 that were duplicates, and upon checking they were correct on every occasion.
From now on Remo is the app I'll be using to check for further duplicates.

Works great.
I’ve had a load of photos that were duplicated on import years ago (not so much recently) which I’ve been trying to sort out for ages - mainly mustering the motivation. This app does it within minutes. Reviewed all just to make sure but it did the job with no problems. Recommend!
Excellent app
I tried several others before this. They either collapsed or found duplicates and wanted paying to remove them. This app went through 14,000 photos in about ten minutes and found nearly 4000 duplicates. I checked and they were.
Top app.
