If you’re stranded and North is 120 degrees the other way, as both my watch and this phone show, you’re screwed. There should be a warning that this app isn’t show north at all. Zero stars. It has one job. Who is programming this?
If it’s sunny and your about to die because your stranded know what time it is and around noon or so shadows in North America should point generally North. Your iPhone will point West as North or something else random.
Apple: don’t include the app if it’s going to work this awful.

I made sure location services were on, it shows my coordinates and elevation, verified by clicking them and taking me to maps, but the compass didn’t work. I downloaded another app to see if it was a hardware problem and it worked perfectly. Turned off location services for this app, and now the compass works but I don’t have coordinates or elevation data.

Display's my current exact location in the bottom half of the screen. However the compass rose is locked on North, and doesn't move.

At first download it didn’t work, the fix is the following
Open Settings. Turn on the Location Services toggle switch, then scroll down and tap System Services. Turn on the Compass Calibration and Motion Calibration & Distance toggle switches. The iPhone uses your location data to ensure the gyroscope, GPS, compass, and accelerometer work properly.

Needs to be available from Lock Screen
Great app but why is there not a Lock Screen widget for this? I want to bring this app up on the fly not have to always unlock my phone to use it. Please update.
