Bring back the old system for events!!
I’ve had this game for over a year now, on and off playing. The graphics are awesome, and fish are adorable, I love the lucky spin shells to get past fish. But this Valentine’s day event has thrown this all out the window.
I liked the old system, of how the fish generate event currency and if you use Song of the Moon and/or Spirit of Life, you could get 5 event currency per tap, or even 10. Otherwise, the event would be impossible to get any currency at all. After all, your only get 1 event currency per tap every minute or so, and trying to get 900 event currencies without Song of the Moon and/or Spirit of Life was impossible. It actually made the event somewhat possible. But that’s exactly what they got rid of. Events were hard enough already, but now they’re downright impossible. I’m pretty sure this is their way of getting you to waste your life on the game and pay. After all, you'd have to spend all your time awake without the old features to actually get something out of the events.
I loved this game, but now I’m afraid that they’re getting greedy and money hungry. Please don’t ruin this game and go Dragon City on me. I loved this game and the event fish especially, don’t take this away for money.Show lessGamercatdog😸🐶

And then the 2018 Valentine’s event happened. One of the great things about this game was the fact that the first time I played, I jumped in during the middle of the 2017 anniversary event. It seemed semi-impossible, but Song of the Moon helped me to get a decent amount of candies and acquire a decent amount of fish. I even bought the little $10 corgi from the ad that got me to play the game in the first place. It gave me hope for the next events and I was able to complete the fall event which was awesome. There was so much excitement finding the hidden fish and building up my collection. With the Valentine’s event made it more difficult to acquire the event currency, removed the bonus from Song of the Moon, there are no hidden fish... I feel like I am just watching ads and not doing anything else in the game. What’s worse is they’ve gone from allowing you to build up your collection by acquiring event currency, to spending event currency for a loot drop so you can’t even get all of the items. I got this game about two years ago and have kept it ever since. I loved the beauty and the serenity this game had while being a simple tap to riches game. However I did eventually get bored of how long it took to unlock things, which I expected as you progress, and I don’t have a problem with this part. I took a significant break and was considering deleting until the seasonal events showed up. They brought a whole new set of content that I could enjoy while progressing normally which got me back into the game. I loved what this company was doing with these events and have been playing as much as I could collecting these new event fish and decorations. This is no longer the case. The old system of the event currency you collected from the fish was perfect. It allowed you to gain a significant amount of currency in short bursts from the song of the moon if you committed yourself to 5 mins. I had spent nearly every gem I collected to get it to a %1100 bonus from %500 meaning every fish tap was worth 11 event currency instead of 5) just for this. Now you can only get one point each tap. All the gems I committed to this are essentially pointless and all the work I put into this system is gone. I don’t know what the developers are trying to fix but this is not better. I am extremely disappointed. I sincerely hope this is not leading deeper into a pay to play system and is just one event or mistake.Show lessDr goofy

I live a very stressful life; constantly on my feet at work, catching buses to every location, always at the gym, plus all the house hold jobs and taking care of 2 fat dogs and my family. So when I get the chance (which is usually on my breaks, after dinner or before bed) I like to wind down and play this game. The music is so relaxing and the visuals are just so beautiful. I have had troubles with it freezing once or twice but in the end it’s fine.Show lessPiglet7474

This game at first doesn’t seem like much but once you start spawning fish and coral, plus all of the event fish. The game becomes this beautiful environment that I love just to sit and watch for long periods of time as fish swim around the coral. The game utilises a beautiful graphic design that makes fish have a beautiful, modern and lively look. I would love to see a bird version of this with a big tree like the Coralite and there is more than enough birds for this conceptShow lessPablo's girl

Max Fish Count NEEDS to be raised +other features
Great, addictive, relaxing game. Unfortunately once you reach about Z vitality you’ll never be able to have all your fish out at once. I’m dying to have all my +600 normal/fusion fish out. 105 is the absolute max, and has been for as long as I’ve had the game. I’d love to see them raise it using Expand or something: maybe raise it 5 fish per each section of terrain you buy with pearls.
On that note, please, make pearls a bit easier to obtain. Please.
I’d really love a panoramic feature so I could slide left or right along my reef in the main viewing as well. Kinda annoying I can’t see my Expand zones unless I go to camera or the Expand tab. I’d also love it if my reef fish would swim throughout the Expand zones instead of just around the corallite.
As always, I look forward to new reef fish and corals :)
I wish they’d updated a bit less on events and more on other aspects of the game like the stuff I listed above.
I will say I have lots of love for the fall event though!! That one was beautiful and so well put together! It’s the only one I’ve ever gotten the dye, theme, and all the fish for <3 Most of the time I just ignore events.
All in all, it's a good game. If you like nature, the ocean, and fish then download it. I'd just love to see the above stuff addressed. That’s the only reasons the game didn’t get a 5 from me.Show lessSkyFreeT
Great but...
I love this game but I find sometimes it doesn’t register when I’ve tapped something and I have to do it like 10 times before it works.
I also think the lucky shell spin is unfair. Im tired of it only landing on things I already have and it’s super rare for me to get something new. Also when I’m paying 200 pearls for a spin (which I spent a lot of time saving up) only for it to land of things Ive already won, I get really annoyed. I don’t need 8 of the same fish.
I think once you have earned a fish in the spin, it should be removed and replaced with one of the alternative prizes.
Or at least make it so if you have fish you don’t want, you can sell them for pearls or gems so it’s not wasting your spaceShow lessOtomeSkullGirl
I love this game! iPhone X display issue though
Been smashing this game for the last 30 odd days. So addictive. Love the beautiful music and the bubble sounds. It’s addictive collecting the next fish or coral. Since I have the new iPhone X, the notch covers the info text at the top left of the screen and also a couple of the icons on the top right of the screen. I’m sure you know what I am referring to as the notch will be covering these for everyone else on an iPhone X too. Please, can you resolve the UI so everything is viewable again.

It helps relax me and helps clear my mind seeing all the colorful baby fishies come into coral reef guy's life. 😁 It shows me that anything is possible, even with taking each day one at a time. 😊 It motivates me to put even more love into every thing I do.🐠✨ I really like all the little baby fishies and love spending time with my baby sister who showed me this game. It looks like whoever made this game put a lot of heart into what they are doing. The only thing is it crashes. I have iOS 9.3.5. Hopefully it can be fixed soon. I can't wait to play. (Don't worry. :) Take your time!) It still needs a lot of work though. There are way too many ads, very glitchy and I wish events were easier. I don't want us to stare at the screen too much. Still, I am excited to watch this game grow as I bond with my sister. I can't wait until the lonely coral reef guy has lots of fish buddies and smiles! :D Then he won't be lonely anymore.
