  • Recomping option

This app is very good Better than 90% of other apps but an option of recomping dieting is needed where there are several days in the week where your calories are in a surplus and the rest where your calories are in a deficit.
  • Great app!

I love this app for tracking macros a million times more than MyFitnessPal. The look of the app is clean and easy, not covered in ads. And being able to customize your macros to the gram makes all the difference. I highly recommend!
  • My fave app

As a hard-working, busy “hommette” I love the benefits I’ve seen from this app. It makes it fun and easy.
  • Everyday

I use this app every day. I love being able to add my own recipes and be able to scan barcodes.
  • Best one yet!

Best macro app period, download now if your serious about your results!
  • Wowza! How did I live without this app?!

If you're counting macros, you need this app. When I have entered all my meals and still have macros left over, this app helps me find the right meal to fit those macros!

So much better than fitness pal!
  • Best macro tracking app!

Hands down the best app for tracking macros. UX is great, UI is intuitive.

Previously there was no option to modify the serving size of foods I add to the database - this was problematic for a number of reasons. The developers were aware and have just added this function to the app! Now I can add a food once and reuse it forever. 🙌

Looking forward to seeing more features in the future!

Totally understand the frustrations here. We just integrated this feature in our most recent release. You'll be able to modify created food entries by gram, oz, or mL. To do this, enter the "grams per serving" in the associated field on the create food screen. We listen to every request and addition! Getting this feature done was actually pretty tricky, so we took the extra time to get it right. If you have any issues with this please do reach out to us at support@fitgenieapp.com and I'll get back to you personally 🙂 - Obi, Co-Founder
  • Great app but needs some basic features

Needs meal macros displayed right on home page.
Needs automatic portion controlling. The fact that 30g is fixed at 1 serving of 30g doesn’t make sense. Ability to switch between oz, g etc. basic feature in other apps.
Love the daily macro progress updates as you add foods - need that same feature as you add foods to an individual meal.
Need ability to display Macro progress instead of calories progress by default

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review! We have a forthcoming redesign that will allow users to filter for recipes based on a number of categories including simplicity, so you can easily browse quick and easy recipes. Feel free to email us at hello@fitgenieapp.com with any additional feedback or questions 🙂 UPDATE: Just added a feature to allow users to add created foods in gram increments. You'll be able to modify created food entries by gram, oz, or mL. To do this, enter the "grams per serving" in the associated field on the create food screen. - Obi, Co-Founder
  • FUH-REAKING AMAZING

FINALLY. An app that HELPS me to reach my goals by adjusting the macros. And they also provide meal ideas to help reach the rest of your macros. Love love love this app!
  • Not able to view old data

    Beautiful and awesome app.
    Only 4 stars:
I can only have access to data 2 weeks back. I can’t view any older data. Please help fix this. This is kinda annoying where you can’t look back what you recorded/tracked.

    Developer Response

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Free users can still generate a limited number of meals in the new design just as they could in the old! You can do this by tapping the center plus button then tapping "GENERATE". It functions the same as the generate tab did. We've got a bug fix on the way for the weight recording error. Thanks in advance for your patience 🙂 - Obi, Co-Founder
