Debit cards

I got two debit cards issued in mar 2024. These did not work in USA. I can not activate these on line even though this feature is available on line. I have tried my utmost with the bank to activate these for international transaction activation. They have not been able to help even for such simple process.
What should I conclude? Leave it to you.

Worst App Ever

This is the worst banking app ever. It is better to shift your account to some other bank. Not only their app is pathetic, but their customer service is also the worst of all. They will make sure that you have the worst experience ever. Simplly pathetic.

The ability to use Raast to transfer to an IBAN has been removed

The developer has removed the option to use Raast transfers to an IBAN. Now the only way Raast can be used itโ€™s by using a mobile number. Every other bank provided this feature and it was available in Askari App too but for some reason they have removed the option. Now all IBAN transfers default to interbank which costs a fee. I logged multiple complaints but they were all closed without any proper response or explanation.

Hi Baron. There are multiple reasons that your funds are not transferring through Raast. For instance, beneficiary bank is not on Raast or you are not entering complete IBAN number during transaction. Hope this addresses your concern. However, for further assistance write to us at feedback@askaribank.com.pk as we are offering Raast payments via Askari Mobile app.

Failure personified.

The developer has tried his best to make the app totally useless. Biometric verification does not work on iPhone. It fails to use the camera correctly and fingers remain out of focus, thus ensuring the verification fails. And without biometric verification, we can not login into our account. So successfully failed. And that seems to be the developers intention. Well done. Didnโ€™t expect anything else from FA failed duffers.

Hi, there are multiple reasons that biometric via mobile fails. However, we suggest you try scanning your fingers in a well-lit place. We hope this will resolve your issue. In case the error resurfaces, then the alternative method is to visit any nearest Askari Bank branch for biometric. Your understanding and support in this regard is highly appreciated.

This apps work seemingly and always as expected. I never had any issues and would recommend everyone as itโ€™s really convenient and made life easier.

Worse app ever

I had to turn off sms alerts. Iโ€™m out of Pakistan and trying to turn it off since last 2 years. I sent lot of emails to support team. When I try to update from email, I just get something went wrong. Issue is still not resolved.

Hi. You can easily turn off sms alerts through the Mobile App just by tapping on "Manage Subscription" under the icon present on the upper right corner of the landing page of the app.
