Needs repeat play
This would help musicians. I mean, I know many that would appreciate it and possibly use this app more as a practice tool. Pretty obvious right!? It also NEEDS effects slots for IAA and AUV3 in this app, like every single iOS music creation app out there. This is nice for recordings but I’d just as soon use some of the other options out there…

Frozen app
I’ve had terrible trouble with this app over the last 18 months. It keeps freezing, won’t allow me to proceed, and can’t save the latest text. It’s not the phone because it has randomly happened on both my current iPhone 11 and my current 14 pro. I’m doing this poor review because it has now happened twice today. Ive done all the fixes suggested including restart phone, restart app, delete and download new app, even wiped whole phone and restarted. Been to the Apple Store. Happens on both phones. Terrible app at the moment, problem needs fixing.

Started freezing since they introduced transcripts in the latest update
I am a heavy user, as I write songs, and use voice memos as my primary way of capturing ideas when I’m out and about. It’s randomly started freezing and stopping recording without me realising and I’m losing the ideas I thought I was capturing. It’s done this since the latest update and I think introducing the transcript feature might be the reason? I can’t find any way to turn off the transcript feature (which I don’t need), so am now looking for another free simple voice recorder which will be reliable, like voice memos always was :(, unless I can find any suggestion to fix this
