Leave a Review Voice Memos
Part of my life journals
I must say, I appreciate the voice memo app. From my first days of having a tape recorder, my dad gave me, I have loved pretending to be somebody important and talking into a machine. That being said, I have very much enjoyed using the voice memo app as an audio journal. I do not make entries very often, but I enjoy making short or long form entries into the journal to share my thoughts and get them off my mind and to review them later down the road if I can. All that to say, it’s simple, it’s easy, and it’s just a voice memo app. I love it for recording. What else could you ask for? I mean, it won’t make you toast in the toaster or give you coffee or give you a job career decision, but man is good for recording thoughts. so, for the several years, I have utilize the voice app for my own private journals, thank you to whoever made this thing. I appreciate it, and whoever finds my audio journals later in life if I do not delete them will probably be confused and wonder why I ever did this.Show lessGot me through NURSING SCHOOL
I would read pertinent info into voice memo while reading it aloud, as well as the questions at the end. Depending on my commute length, I would either re-read important chapters/notes, concepts & formulas or I would quiz myself. The following is a very simplistic example: Hey, self, we do this to push info into your concrete memory. Remember that. Quick note; these last two comments are randomly interspersed to reinforce the learning by forcing a refresh. Back to self; self do you know what the average heart rate for a healthy human is? {adequate answer’s time length of pause plus 2-5 secs} If you said 60 to 100 bpm, you’d be correct. Next question.
If I got it wrong, depending on the difficulty level of the question, I’d answer every question with its answer, asking what/where I’d find the answer w/rationale. And so on. It’s the only way I learn copious amounts of knowledge. Fun fun.
But, in all seriousness and with gratitude, yes, I really really loved voice memo. There is an app I believe just out with the 16 with the AI able to do much of what I manually did when voice memo was first introduced. So, if you can’t afford the shiny, the sorta rusty really still works. ✌🏻Show lessVoice memo “feedback”
Of course its a great apple app..especially if your hungry for hearing yurself blab away like a fool when no one is around to delete later feeling somehow unburdened anymore. 3ven when people who can’t be seen and might be on boats at the boatyard and might or might not be listening hear you or see you pointing your finger to the moonlit sky and shouting to yur hand (except in Oakland beach,R.I. Somehow an ambulance shows up after the 30 and under police force can’t tolerate decibel level 2.7 in soft English tones to ask more pointed jackassy questions .) they would just know “oh someone talkin into “voice memo” or if they really curious they would approach gingerly and I would say it’s a cool apple app “voice memo”. Then i would show them and they’d be like “oh ok Yada tostada whatever ok coolness it is, thx JokerCowboy for sharing that nugget.!.(except in Oakland beach,R.I. Where the gentle sway of the water matches there peaceful manly temperament so please don’t speak loudly, forcefully or with any conviction at all like a man would from the other 47 mainland states or Alaska and the only REAL island state Hawaii. 4 stars simply because that’s a pretty good score and also 5 star rating only comes when it automatically records when I need it to and I don’t even realize it yet until later when I listenShow less
