Reviews of Contacts

  • Good app but missing a key feature!

Contacts needs the ability to Adler coded & key worded TAGS just like the apple Notes and Files apps. We also need the ability to sort , group or search for contacts by such tags. Now the only alternative is adding a note or putting a company name or creating a custom field for each contact.
Imagine meeting a group of people at a networking event exchanging contact info and now they are lost in the mix of 100s or 1000s of contacts on your phone.
I meet new people at events and have to search to find those new contacts without any context if I’m quickly exchanging info especially now with the tap to share features of iOS 17+. Apple please fix this or add these much needed features Apple contacts needs this update searchable tags like notes reminders, files etc. most of the other Apple apps have this.
  • It’s amazing and it keeps you organized

I feel like this app helps you get really organized because if you just search someone that you’re looking for names then they’re gonna pop up and it’s amazing and it’s really helpful and I really recommend it to anyone who wants to try and be organized or you can never find the people they wanna talk to or call so I feel like it’s just really amazing because before I got this app, I couldn’t find anyone who I wanted to talk to you like any of my friends and then when I got this app because my friends recommended it for me then it holding me a lot with texting everyone and calling everyone and help you get organized when you’re adding people so I feel like it shouldn’t be 3.5 stars I feel like it should be five stars for sure
  • Use Google Apps to avoid data loss

Here is my experience: I never backed up my contacts on Google and after a software update most of my contacts are gone from both my phone and iCloud.
I contacted the apple support team and they told me that you need to buy apple subscription to fix.
I felt it’s an extortion, they can push whatever updates to anyone and ask money for it.
I learned from hard way. Now I will not backup anything on apple in fact apple has become greedy company that wants to cheat its customers.
I have started using Google one which is free and it can make sure my contacts are not disappear suddenly.
