My son really likes this app and it has been a good supplement for learning spelling.
Fun and effective
This is a great app. It's attractive, fun, customizable, and words are clearly pronounced. Just what I was trying to find for my 5 children ages 5-16. If definitions were available for the words this great app would be even better!

I downloaded this app to be used in the classroom and we all love it! Each week I tell the students which list they will be tested on. They can use the fun games to practice the words. I used to just give them a list with suggestions on how to study the words at home. Most couldn't be bothered and very few students got perfect. After the students started downloading and using the app, the results were incredible! Almost everyone who had the app got 13-15 out of 15 on first spelling test we did. If they finish their work early they ask to play it and I've even seen students using it at recess!

It's good practice ..
This app serves as good practice especially for the child that is having difficulties with spelling at any grade level. However, if the child excels in spelling, he/she will find it amusing at first since it's a new app to "play" with but will easily get bored & move on to other game options on his/her device.
There are a lot of spelling game options to choose from so it can be a bit confusing for a child to choose which one to start with...

OTA
This is a great app! I use it all the time with my students who are having difficulty with letter recognition and handwriting. By presenting the material in a variety of ways it reaches those students who need repetition and have different learning styles. My students want to keep playing with it over and over!

Very good app
Overall very good. Enormous number of word lists. Great that you can make your own lists.
I think it would be helpful for the spoken words to also be given context within a phrase/sentence. Especially helpful for words such as taught & taut.
Different accents would be helpful too.
