  • Works pretty good

Was attempting to locate a well head in my front yard that was put in in 1971. Had a friend help me and after a few digs which we did locate the newer pvc going to it we were unsure how far we needed to go. Wasn’t easy with many tree roots. He asked if I had a metal detector and of course I said no. I had played with this app before and it worked especially around speaker magnets but I deleted it. I redownloaded it and I’ll be dipped we found it immediately. Obviously we knew in a general area where but not how far away. It was also about 18 inches down under.

  • Alerted to danger

This app helped us discern that our apartment has dangerous levels of EMF, which may explain our dizziness and other symptoms. We’re now in negotiations to arrange a move until they figure out remedies.
  • Useful

I lost a throwing knife in my backyard, I knew it lodged itself deep in the ground. It took me a bit but I finally got a hit waving my phone around.
  • Wow..

I knew before that Apple’s devices had tools for this, but you developers made it easy to access for all users. I even used this to find my lost phone, and it led me straight to it. I thank you, with all my heart, for making this app. It’s incredibly useful in many ways, and you can find quite a large amount of antiquities hidden in the ground. Have a great day!

  • Detects MOST metals

Some work, such as iron, steel, etc… but if it isn’t magnetic, or is too magnetic, it doesn’t work whatsoever. Mostly good, but if it’s too magnetic, it goes down rather than up, which defeats the whole purpose. If it isn’t magnetic whatsoever, it won’t work at all

Thank you for your opinion! Before use, be sure to follow the calibration instructions to achieve the best results: turn the phone in the air in a figure-eight shape at the location where you are taking measurements. We also recommend determining the location of the sensor inside the smartphone by testing it with metal. We do not recommend the use of a strong magnet as it may disturb the calibration. If something still doesn't work, write to us at help@examobile.pl, we will try to help or improve as soon as possible. Best regards, Exa support team.

I did not expect that. Oh my God, the magnificence. Thank you to the owner of the application. Even if the application was with money, you did not lose. It is strong. I respect you.
  • I didn’t think this would work but it does 🤩

  • Yeah, right…

I followed the directions when you first open the app in order to “calibrate“ it. And then I went and moved it around different surfaces. The entire time I was holding my phone vertically as if I was holding it out to take a picture of someone. When I took it away from any surface and suddenly laid it flat face downward in the air, it alerted that it had found metal. What? turning it back up right reset it, and I once again and the front face camera downward and it again alerted that metal was present. I did this while holding it in the air away from any surfaces. I think it’s a position/motion detector.

Please also check if the case on your smartphone doesn't contain any magnets (e.g. for chargers, accessories or magnetic lid). If something still doesn't work, write to us at help@examobile.pl, we will try to help or improve as soon as possible. Best regards, Exa support team.
  • Very good

It does what it is supposed to do and it actually works pretty good
  • Actually kinda works

Regardless of all the fake reviews (probably 80% are spam from the developers), it does sort of work. Depends on the metal and where you have your phone. Must be right up against the object for it to detect.
Cool/fun toy but definitely not useful for metal detecting! Buy a real metal detector lol
