Pretty good
This has potential… but it needs to be easier to set a starting point, for example. If I am in Sliema but want to find a bus from Birgu to Paola, how do I do that? And the intro pages say you can book a seat. How is that possible on regular buses? The map shows bus lines (one at a time) but don’t show the direction. Sometimes a bus stop for one direction is on another street from the opposite direction bus, how do I know which street to go to? This app is probably more useful for residents than tourists.Show lessPsmythe
It needs work
I couldn’t paste in password when creating an account. It wouldn’t work with my password manager due to restrictions in the app. Meaning I can’t use a secure long random password as I’d have to have a pen and paper. Please get it working with 1Password for security’s sake.Darrensellers
Ridiculously bad
How can Malta transport get this so so wrong.
Obviously many visitors to malta will be using DATA on their phones and not an active phone number. But the app only uses an SMS for verification.
How easy would it be to simply have the option for SMS or email verification to get the code.
Why have they made this simply process so so hard for visitors.
Also why make it so you have to go and physically purchase the card?? They already have the hardware on the buses and all phones have NFC technology.

Utterly useless
Makes up bus times that don’t exist. Keeps trying to make you go to wrong places. Missed out routes altogether. Don’t buy a card or download the app. Uses taxisGeorgeCornelius
Better transportation systems needed
This is like stepping back into 1980s technology. It shows you what is available but it may or may not occur, not reliable by any means!hdhcbbdhd
Confusing UI and out of touch with user base
The route planning is inadequate and flawed in its design.
And now they force an update that requires iOS 16 which many of Tallinja riders don’t have.

Pointless and misleading app
This app is a nice user interface for a random number generator that produces bus arrival and departure information that has no connection with reality whatsoever.
To get a bus in Malta, whatever you do, don’t consult this app - simply go to a bus stop and wait, and a bus will arrive at some point in the next minute or next hour, but there is no way on planet earth to be any more precise than that.Show lesscpr9090
