  • Terrific!

I've been using WRIO for about three weeks. The first major re-think of a mobile keyboard I think actually works. Very high learning curve as you might imagine (at least for this old man trying to learn new tricks), but my accuracy is way up, I think my speed will be, and I find it hard to go back to the standard keyboard in the few apps it won't work with. The use of swipe for capitalixation, delete and restore, and to reassign keys to special charactors mean all of these tasks can be done with fewer key strokes and one-handed. Woth the effort to learn the modified layout, and highly recommended.

Hi Donald, thanks a lot for your feedback. Have you already tried our new V2.0? It has a lot of new features (including word predictions which might help you further adapting to the new layout) and looks awesome. Send us a message if you'd like to participate in the Beta: app@wrio-keyboard.com - Cheers, your WRIO team
  • Trying to figure tuis out

I love the larger key layout on this, but im havng trouble with the auto-correct function in that it seems to be not behaving as I would expect it to. For example, if i want to say that im ready to do something, the i's don't get capitalized and i don't always get the apostrophies to insert where they should, so i am having to go back to manually correct the multiple mistakes i make by not swiping up or holding the long press as I need to do. I have the auto-correct turned on in the settings, but it doesn't seem to do what I expect it to do. Im on an iphone 7, did I miss something or what? BTW, I love the privacy that is promised, but Im used to seeing the auto-correct options above the keyboard and being able to tap the correction from there. So, what am i missing?

Hi Lexpost, thanks a lot for your feedback. I think you should try our new V2.0 which is in Beta right now. We added a bar on top with word predictions and a way that makes corrections transparent and easy to change in case it was a wrong correction. It has a lot of new features and looks awesome. • NOT WORTH MONEY

    NOT WORTH THE MONEY!
Difficult to swipe backwards (in fact I CANT) to delete unwanted text! IMPOSSIBLE to do. I’ve wasted more time trying to delete....
Special characters? Nope can’t get them either!
TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!
    DONT PURCHASE!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Denarcy, sorry to hear that WRIO didn't work for you. There is a good video on YouTube explaining how the swipes work, we'd be happy to send you the link. Would you be willing to give it another try? We're also working on the brand new V2.0, if you'd like to try it out send us an email: app@wrio-keyboard.com - hopefully we can still convince you! Cheers, your WRIO team
  • I keep trying

I've tried every update. I want to love it but I always delete it after a few days. It doesn't work with most apps. The spell check has never worked. I'm always disappointed.

Hi Chadoxo, thanks for your feedback and sorry to hear WRIO doesn't work for you. Which apps don't work? Does WRIO not appear at all or what's the issue exactly? Maybe you can help us by writing in our community.wrio-keyobard.com - a big update is underway, which maybe you want to try again. Best, your WRIO team
  • Too much of a departure from standard keys

I wanted to like this keyboard, but the key positions are too different from where the keys "belong". My typing speed was abysmally slow. Kudos for trying something different.

Hi Cybersnyer, thanks for your comment. While there is a learning curve, we are convinced that it's worth the effort :-) Stay tuned for the next big version, which will make that much easier. Cheers, your WRIO team

  • Newcomer

I'm always up to try new keyboards for iOS. Since Fleksy has stopped development I've been in dire need of a good replacement. Giving Wrio a shot. 5 stars for concept & layout.

  • Layout

Hi, the keyboard is quite nice. Good ideas with the swiping, but the layout is very confusing. I suggest adding different layout options of where the keys go, or let the user customize the location of the keys our selves
    Thanks
Hope I can see these in ideas in the future versions.
  • After you get used to it it is awesome

you just have to get used to it it is cool and usefull
  • You've got some problems.

Ok i love this keyboard, but there is no autocorrection. And when i open an app that requires me to type it takes around 30 seconds to open WRIO. when changing from ABC's to 123's it takes a few seconds to change. Beyond that the app it self is just poorly put together. Half the "cool tricks" you guys say this keyboard is capable of, doesn't work! I'm tired of this keyboard not closing when I want it to, not using the characters I want it to, "autocorrecting" CORRECT words into INCORRECT! I mean what's up with that? I'm tired of having to deal with it please just fix it. It's got great potential.
