  • Totally unimpressed

Waste of money. It does look cool, but with no good autocorrect or predictive typing it is certainly slower. Also there is no microphone key for voice to text! What gives!?
  • Long Way to Go, but Getting There

I love this keyboard desperately. The design is so polished and such a realistic improvement from the default keyboard; the swiping and holding effects are placed perfectly, and the color selections are tasteful. Nonetheless, it crashes and lags so often I have to revert back to the default apple keyboard for sometimes days at a time. The autocorrect changes correctly-spelled words to typos (or at least words so obscure they look like acronyms), or correctly-spelled words to other words that look similar to the original. Having autocorrect on at all even lags the input behind by entire seconds.
It needs some work, but I wouldn't ever want to delete this app. I'd love to see it improve in the coming months and years. So close to being worth the price of admission

Hi No Open Nicknames, thanks for your feedback. With V1.3 we have much improved the auto correction and stability/performance. WRIO automatically corrects typos (e.g. 'hrllo' to 'hello') and learns from you as you type. By swiping down on the keyboard, you can undo a correction. We’re happy to figure out any issues on our community.wrio-keyboard.com – And we’re also working on some exciting new things, including word predictions! Cheers, your WRIO team
  • If you want to be slowed down

4 functions on certain keys. Not intuitive. Swipe up, down, left, right? I found the learning curve didn't curve at all. It started slow and stayed flat...slow. I like the key shape but find no advantage over traditional qwerty.
  • Too Early; Tired of Waiting

I was previously really excited about this keyboard, but it was simply released too early. First no auto correct, then too much time between promised updates that fell flat.

A revolutionary new keyboard with no correction feature?

In the end it needs a ton more beta testing, needs to drop about $1- $2 off of the $3.99 price, and also needs to be more customizable for users. Don't bother with it until any of these happen.

  • Switch glitch between keyboards

When I type the 123 key, then the app often switches to normal iOS keyboard instead of going to the numbers and char page.
  • Great idea! Needs some improvement

This app has a lot of potential. I am strugling a few days to adapt to the new layout, steep lurning curve, but I am typing each day faster and faster. When I need to type a lot, I still switch to my original keyboard. Yes, you can switch. When you press/touch the numbers button the button with the globe appears at the right, where you can switch keyboards. Took me e little effort to figure that out, but it's pretty easy once you know. Finally these large and thick thumps have a matching keyboard.

But then again......4 weeks later and I am still slower than on my normal keyboard. I can still see the potential, but I am deleting this keyboard as it actually slows me down instead of making me faster. It was worth a try. 2 stars for a great idea though.

  • Great App

I have had the app for several weeks and it has allowed me to improve my accuracy and speed. It is great for us fat thumb guys. Yes, there is a learning curve but you get better with use. Please fix, keyboard not sizing correctly on all apps e. g. Organizy
  • A bit of learning needed but for huge benefits

Its true, the subtleties of this keyboard are unique and unfamiliar at first but after picking up the basics through the useful tutorial, I can already see a lot of potential with this keyboard's usefulness. True, it?s not QWERTY, but the QWERTY has outlived it's original usefulness and I'm tired of being held back by poorly designed configurations. With the large buttons, strategic placememt of letters, and subtle interactions (making my little thumbs move less 👍), this keyboard is already making my life easier!

  • Intriguing concept executed poorly

The developers are correct in stating that the "traditional" keypads for smartphones don't work very well. This concept however with it's psudo-QWERTY non-intuitive interface is not the answer. The tutorial for an app should be an intuitive learning experience and not leave one frustrated with smiley face error messages telling the user they are doing it wrong.

  • No voice to text.

I like the idea & can get used to the key layout. Not having a voice to text key is a deal breaker though.
