Fun, but addicting-love the community
I have been playing for about a month and am enjoying this game. It is easy to level up, get new items. While it is sometimes difficult to get items to expand your farm or increase your bar size, it is possible. Nd I love the community that can be created through the events. It feels like you have a team to help you complete your chores. The only thing that frustrates me is that the daily ad that advertises what is available in the markets is always out of date. Maybe one out of ten times is the item available when you go the market. Whether that is intentional to get you to other farms or just a glitch, it is annoying to spend so much time “shopping” rather than in events or working my farm. Love the game, NOT the glitches
If not for two major issues I would rate this a 5 instead of a 3. I love farming games, and as far as the game itself goes, it rocks. However, I couldn’t tell you how many times that I have watched videos to earn Westbucks or coins, only to not get them. I’m talking at least 20 times within a week. The other issue is that sometimes numerous times a day the game will freeze up, so I have to uninstall it then reinstall it just so I can play. I know that I’m not the only person experiencing these major issues because there are other players in my neighborhood who are having the same issues. One more thing too. I invited my daughter to play, neither one of us got anything out of that. As soon as she leveled up enough to join a neighborhood she searched for mine, and it says neighborhood not found. I check every time I experience these issues and my game is updated, so that is not the problem. Any help in correcting these issues would be much appreciated, before I give up and move on. So this game is very good but there are some things that I would like to have changed the first I’m gonna talk about the good things this game is very very good for farming people that want to farm so that they can understand a little bit but also it has some made up fiction the things that I would want to change is that we should be able to get free Westbucks at least every day maybe like five of them because to buy money and you have to have 50 Westbucks To get a little amount of money and I also think that we should add like new characters and more houses are stuff that can be made from it like the bakery and stuff like Addmore stuff like that so if you could add like sugar and just bacon powder What does stuff like that just random stuff that would make the game more interesting and the last thing that I would like for you guys to change is that we should be able to add like a trampoline in there I know it’s probably not part of the Wild West but it would be good for decoration so people would like it and then say people could go on the trampoline and they get entertained and everything so then you can get money and experience but other than that I like this game and this is why I gave it a four star review goodbyeShow lesseth115

The way this game works with the market boxes is that you have to become facebook friends with a whole lot of people to get them without paying a fortune in real money. Some of these people are not very nice. They call other players thieves for playing the game as it was designed. They have made up a lot of “rules” that other players are just supposed to know. When you break one of these “rules” they go on facebook and berate you. Other games allow you to make in-game friends that you never share personal info with. There is no way for them to post things about specific players. The market boxes are fairly priced so you can buy them without spending your life savings. The game itself is a good game. There should just be a way to play without having to add a bunch of strangers on facebook.Show lessTiki's Mom
New update crashes the game
Let me start by saying I really love this game and enjoy all the interesting fun things I can grow and make. My biggest downfall for this game is the crashes and kicks me out of the game. It crashes when buying from the book or if I go into the store. I have plenty of memory on my device so it’s not on my end. I have tried everything to get help to see what I could do to fix the problem but no response. I have deleted and reinstalled the game but now it won’t even start up without crashing. I would love too give this game 5 stars but it’s a bit hard to do when you can’t play the game due too being kick out of the game each time I start it up.Show lessAjb.me
Patience is key
I see a lot of reviews complaining about how hard it is to expand your farm in this game. They are not wrong, but I think you are missing the point. Once you have expanded the land as much as it will go and have a huge barn and silo, and all the coins you could ever spend, the game becomes rather boring. I say cherish these days when you are actually excited to see building supplies drop from trees, and don’t be in such a hurry to grow up!
I do wish they would add another server, as the glitches seem to be related to server overload. Also the stagecoach races have a lot of problems. More high point tasks need to appear when your team is full of level 70 plus members. Nobody wants a task worth 39 points, and it takes half an hour for a new one to appear. We all end up doing trains, which is just like every other day....boring.Show lessGranny fixit

I was disappointed to learn that frontierville was shut down when I searched in the app store for it. But this showed up, it looked okay so I decided to give it a try. I noticed its very similar to the other game. Friends list to visit farms, trading goods, decorating, etc. I like it a lot, you can reach level 30 within a week of constant playing. The only downside that I dont like are some of the buildings costing nearly $50 to build as well as the saws not being available as much to clear land. I might suggest fixing the neighborhood to where it looks more organized. Like placing the less active groups near the bottom and most active towards the top. Its not that easy to search for the one you want.Show lessdylanr0818

This game isn’t too addicting, but it’s fun enough to play a little every day. However, the past few months it’s been buggy. The timed crops and goods don’t always progress in real time. You have to go visit someone else’s farm and come back to yours for it to correct. I’ve learned to use it to my advantage by planting crops that take a long time or starting goods that I need before leaving my farm, because when you come back, they will be done, whether they were started two seconds ago, or two hours ago. This bug happens whenever I’ve been away from the game for several hours. I’m about to stop playing the game for good, even though I’ve wasted a lot of time playing this game. I’m all the way up to level 42. Today’s new bug is the straw that broke the camels back. I made a new good (fish and chips) in preparation for a train coming. When I loaded the game later, they were gone. Done.Show less1ninjanina

I really enjoy this game and the graphics are killer. The only reason it doesn’t get a 5 star rating are the following:
1). The great graphics drain the power from my iPad. I have to play plugged in most of the time.
2). To progress through the games levels, you really have to spend real $s on West Bucks. It isn't a lot, but this hinders folks in my farming neighborhood from participating at the same level of participation as other farmers.
3). Once you have successfully constructed buildings, to store all of these buildings, livestock and pets, you have a real estate problem. Storing or deleting the critical items cannot be deleted. Eventually you have to buy plots of land that are adjacent to your land. This is where you are tempted to spend real money.
I would recommend this game for adults (because of the real cash thing). I am really enjoying the game and challenges of loading trains, fulfilling orders and assisting other neighbors from around the world.Show lesstn_mama
What’s the point?
I have been playing this game for a couple months now, and it definitely has challenging aspects I enjoy. However, there are some aspects of the game I don’t understand and they are losing my interest. What’s the point of the furniture? Everyone seems to enjoy making and trying to sell chests and chairs, but no one ever wants to buy them. Trying to complete a fish train is near impossible. The game is losing my attention as it is just the same thing level after level with only adding in making new things and adding stores you don’t need (furniture store). But, as for a time waster, it is a good game to play in my downtime, and I enjoy chatting to those in my neighborhood.Show lessSockher79
