Something has gone wrong
This is a brilliant game and has been fantstic the support my son with his phonics but it has recently stopped working. At the end of each level instead of unlocking the next level the game freezes and you are stuck and cannot progress any further with the game. Please fix this!!!Applebudgie

I am sorry to have written my earlier feedback in frustration when the sounds wouldn’t unlock after payment and multiple emails to support & help. I managed to find Sophie, the app developer via Twitter and I am now informed the sound opens one after another which wasn’t clear in the FAQ’s. I am pleased this was only due to clarity which they have agreed to look into. I am sorry for the inconvenience and I am unable to delete my previous review. My kids love it.

Great Phonics App
This app is fun and simple. It is a great educational tool to support my son’s learning in sounds. The games are varied and build on sound knowledge. The visuals keep him interested and the spoken sounds are clear. Wonderful to find an English spoken phonics app. Thank you.Katelmor
Fun ways to support phonics learning
I found this app to be a fun way to support children’s learning of phonics. The games are simple and easy to use. The progression in each section to read and apply a particular sound is great. The only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars is that when playing on an iPhone, some of the games need to you to drag and drop from the bottom of the screen and this swipes up the iPhone menu which I found annoying. Perhaps move the drag and drop items a little more away from the edge. Other that that a great app which will support the teaching and learning of phonics in school and at home. Phonics review - year 1 teacher
I’ve been using this app for about a year now with my class. The children absolutely love it and it’s very child friendly and easy to use. The children enjoy the colourful characters and unlocking the next sound. They love being able to move onto the next island. I would definitely recommend for use alongside your teaching of phonics. I also recommend this app at parents evening for children to use at home to consolidate their learning.Show lesssmiffybrown
