Fun and engaging
My 3 1/2 year old really likes it. This will really help her with blending as she already knows the basic sounds. She loves the different games. It’s easy for her to use and understand what is being asked of her.Leanne282002

Downloaded this for my son who is struggling with phonics. Found it a great additional aid to the sound mats from school. Plus as it’s game on the phone he seems much more enthusiastic to do it! Plus helps me to know which are the correct sounds too. Keep up the good work!squidthedog
Great for school
As a teacher I use this all the time. The kids love it and it’s really child friendly so they can access it independently. It’s great to find something that teaches the same letters and sounds as in school and I encourage all my students to use it at home.Miss_0
Some good phonics principles but too repetitive
I work with students with dyslexia. I like the coverage of the phonics sounds, and the grouping provides good revision for sounds taught individually during lessons. There are only a small number of activities to do with the sounds, which repeat for each sound. The front screen has different islands, which makes it seem like there will be different activities, but they are all the same. The green alien makes a very annoying laughing sound every time the student taps a sound on the screen, and there are no settings to adjust. This app had potential, but does not live up to it. Different activities with the sounds, more activities with nonsense words, and more control over sound effects would be good.Show lessBenitaranzon
Good educational kids app
The app itself is quite good and entertaining. Our 5 year old has been enjoying it for a while. She's quite amused with the little green alien. I only rate it with 3 stars cause I think there's room for improvement on the technical part, since sometimes seems to run a bit slow and the interface is not that much user friendly.Show lesselituesbay
Love it!
We loved this app - it was easy to use and my son was able to figure out each step. He loved gaining points as he passed each step. The words chosen were age appropriate. A fantastic learning tool for children.cvegnad
My 4 Year Old Loves This!
I recently started teaching my son to read and for a month or so before we started I downloaded this game for him to play. He loves it and it has helped him with learning the phonetic sounds of each letter. I also refer back to it as I teach him to read to help reinforce what is being taught. Very Disappointing
App does not work. Cannot get into the settings area. Cannot go past letter p. It keep telling us to hold down for 3 seconds and when we do nothing happens!!!Kaziopo

Hello! Thank you for your review. We are sorry you are having problems, but it sounds like you are having trouble with our parent lock. All children apps that have in app purchases are required to have a parent lock, to make sure children don't buy the purchases. To get past this you have to press and hold the scroll that pops up for 3 seconds. You then have the option to purchase different stages to carry on with your phonics learning.
