Awful - either always on or never works
Genuinely shocking app. When first fitted fan seemed ok. Tried to “tweak” settings with this app. It makes no sense as the terminology is vague and obfuscatory (does high mean high si Siri it’s or high levels?)
Fan now turns on sometimes - never immediately with light. Usually never turns off so app functions to try and override incompatible and illogical settings.
Support via report a problem is slow or non-existent.
Should be good - needs help instructions to tell you what each setting does/means and to have some recommended presets. Instead you’re left messing about and there’s no way to reset to factory.

Nic fan, Crap App. Come on Vent-Axia...
There is no excuse, Vent-Axia is a massive company so not to have an app that works properly on an iPhone and iPad is simply incompetent.
The current app running on my iPad and iPhone doesn’t render properly so you can’t see the text or menus properly and if you try to connect/setup multiple fans you have to go into the IOS/Vent-Axia Connect app settings and switch off and on the Bluetooth switch so you can add another fan to the apps menu list?
Whoever Vent-Axia has in charge of the app development should be sacked, there simply no excuse!😡

Great idea launched too early.
I have had two of these fans (one a replacement) for a couple of month and although as an extractor it is powerful the app and sensitivity of the functions are not fit for purpose.
The fan speed for the odour and humidity are connected meaning if you turn one up high the other also goes up automatically, this is not supposed to be the case.
The odour sensor has a mind of its own and comes on for almost no odour but when it should come on it doesn’t. It appears to dislike any pleasant smells like perfume or aerosols but does not respond to more unpleasant aromas, conversely on occasions it does!
Our fan is situated approximately 3 metres from our shower and above the wc, After two people have showered the fan will run for hours at full speed and only stop when the en suite door is opened.
Appears to be a great idea but launched too soon, I now use the fan on manual as it is in my en suite and the motor running at full speed at all hours of night is hopeless.

As buggy as an infestation of ladybirds in your loft...
I filled my whole house with these fans, much to my regret. For a product that presents itself as the first truly "smart" extractor fan on the market, the accompanying app is so buggy as to be almost unusable. The text and descriptions in the app frequently fail to render at all, leaving just a load of random, unlabelled switches which fail to do anything when toggled. Even when working as intended, the app is designed in such a way that only the first few words of each descriptive text are readable, leaving the user to guess at what each function does. Even worse, previously paired fans fail to reconnect; the barrels of the fans then have to be pulled from the wall to reset the connection as there are no physical or software buttons on the fans. Utterly useless.

Can’t see anything in dark mode
When I opened the app recently, it appeared differently (I.e. dark, because my phone is in dark mode permanently). The problem is that it’s impossible to see the text in the app because the text is also black!
Also, the controls don’t seem to work for the humidity sensor, I have set up the sensors but the didn’t ever work. The only way that I was able to have any control over the fan speed was to set the fan to vent mode and change the temperature at which it turned up the speed. This isn’t ideal for a smart fan

Love this fan and App
I love this fan. Detects when the light is switched on or excess humidity in the bathroom and increases speed accordingly. Love the manual speed ability through the app for when the room is a little fragrant, does save embarrassment.

Great Fan, terrible App
I installed a fan in my bathroom, and set it up really nicely using the app. Everything worked fine until I installed the second fan. We set it to trigger on temperature but didn’t really like the way that that worked so trying to complete a factory reset on the fan so we can select another mode at which point we are no longer able to reset the fan. So I now have a bathroom fan that I can control a little bit but I can’t factory reset it. What a shame, such a great product let down completely by the control and the app.

Good little Fan But.....
Had the fan install and works fine except the app does not give you the ability to make any adjustments other than speeding up the fan.
I should be able to adjust the sensor, switch on/off and adjust speed from 0-max yet the app does not provide for any of this.
Please update the app and allow an on/off switch at least.

Really disappointed - shame I didn’t read the reviews here first.
Firstly, this isn’t a cheap fan. It’s priced in the mid-high range and as such you’d expect it to be a good product. On its own and forgetting any desired configuration, the fan performs fine - it isn’t particularly better or worse than the rest of the Vent-Axia line of which I’ve had a few.
The main and most significant problem is this app. Mirroring all the other reviews on here - it’s slow, unreliable and the majority of configurable setting do not work. For example, you can configure the light sensor to have a delay before boosting/starting the fan - on no occasions has this worked despite being selected. I’ll be contacting vent axia and the vendor I bought this through to both complain and share an open review on the product (I suspect that this app was built buy a poor supplier they contracted).

Pure Sense
Despite other reviews, the app works well for me. It is simple & self explanatory.
It would benefit from further control:
ie setting the ‘constant’ to function in the day but to be off at night for instance or vice verse. It would be useful to have the option of the ‘constant’ being on for an hour, off for an hour etc.
