  • What a wonderful game!

I enjoy working the daily puzzle at the close of every day. It is challenging and enjoyable. I am definitely an adult with ADD and this allows me to stay on task or to come back to it when I need. I am a full time caregiver to my 86 year old father with Alzheimer's. working this puzzle keeps me at peace yet challenged on a daily basis. Thank you for such a wonderful game!

  • Added a Twist

I'll second (or3rd, or 14th) the reviewers who mentioned weird, obscure, and often flat-out mistaken clues & answers, but I've found a saving grace that keeps me hooked, despite these: my BFF & I both play and send each other the craziest, most erroneous puzzle screw-ups, and make each other laugh.

Really, the issue seems to be that this game, written for native English-speakers, is actually written BY English-first-language people. It's clear many times, they've simply opened a Merriam-Webster and pulled part of an entry for a word, which doesn't at all wholly define the word. The tenses on many clues don't at all match the answers, and some answers are completely wrong. The one that comes to mind is "hold" when they meant "hole," as in "darned hole in sock."

Regardless, it's still addictive. As long as I can get my daily chuckle from capturing/sending puzzle mishaps with said friend, it's all good. 4 stars.

  • Great game

It makes the old grey matter fire up
  • Awesome!

I have been totally hooked! A great game and very addictive! Challenging at times...which is what makes it so great! Also the ads are not ridiculous and completely annoying....these are the ones I don't delete jut because of ads and usually end up paying to go ad free!
Would totally recommend for the person that loves a challenging word game!

  • Fun game...

Like some other reviewers I have found incorrect definitions that slow me down. The game I just finished said an apartment with two floors is a duplex -- not! There have been other ones as well. I do enjoy playing though. Suggest you do more checking of definitions.
  • It's a good game

It's a fun game. It really is. Great to play for a stretch, or to fill a few seconds of free time. The hints can be a little odd. More like crossword puzzle hints. So they're not straight definitions of the words that are in the puzzle. The hint and the word are just somehow related. If you like that format and I think you will really enjoy this game.

  • Love this game

I really love this game. It is interesting. I haven't spent any money. It is hard enough without being to difficult. I highly recommend it to everyone. Get it. I like it a lot. Keep more coming.
  • Not horrible, but these clues...

Like most other reviews, I find this game fun, but in need of some serious proofreading. Some of the clues are incredible stretches ("bottom of a river" should not be "canal") while others are hilariously inaccurate, my favorite being "to live after the death" isn't "ghost" or "afterlife," but "survive." Granted, its good for a few laughs, but right now these are keeping me from truly enjoying this game.

  • Okish

I enjoy a word game as much as the next guy and I really love this one. But, who does quality control on some of the clues. The daily puzzle for 6 Jan 2017 had "a country that is a continent" and the answer was Africa! Umm...NO!!! Africa is not a country!! This seems like a really basic thing to get wrong. I still enjoy the game and will continue playing but it has lost some "cool points" in my eyes! 😁

  • Inaccurate clues

While I do enjoy the game play, incorrect definitions have made it annoying at best. There have been a number of instances where I'm pretty sure they made up words, and a number where they obviously don't know the meaning of the word. Sometimes it's at least related to the definition, but sometimes it's more like "this word sounds like that one so it must mean something similar". I draw the line, though, at the clue being "country that is also a continent" and the answer being "Africa". That is so wrong as to be not even tolerable. Africa is not a country, no matter how many uneducated people think it is. Deleting the game.
