This app is very frustrating! It is slow to load and cumbersome to use and navigate. While you wait you tie up your device waiting or start all over again. The absolute worst part of dealing with our design team is this app!
Ps. The review won’t let you out w/o a “nickname”…. really? 5 attempts and they’re all taken or disallowed!Show lessapp of disillusionment

I have been using Chief Architect software for about 8 years, the capabilities of this app, when paired with a high powered iPad is mostly useful. The execution on the walkthrough mode could use some updates, it is below par compared to other AR apps which have improved greatly in the last 3 years. Otherwise, some smarter handling of compression and automatic removal of high-polygon objects would be welcome for optimization.Show lessRhys82

Useless for me
US as usually behind from the rest of the world when it comes using more efficient apps and drives. A lot more people use google drive than Dropbox. I don’t even use Dropbox anymore and unfortunately can’t upload my 3D file from google drive because there is no option for that. So, till they add a button for google drive this app is useless for me. Hope you will improve it and add another google drive option.Show lessNzuzbrad

Hello, Thank you for your interest in the 3D Viewer app. I will log your request for importing from google drive. In the meantime, you can import a model from a shared link. You may upload the collada (.dae) file to dropbox, create a share link, and paste the shared link into the import model field. I hope this helps! Let us know if you have any questions! I uploaded the Dropbox file link and the app returned the error message that it couldn’t open a zipped file… but the file WASNT compressed. Don’t waste your time.pdxhaole

App needs more work
Very difficult to import models for options other than CA cloud. Let’s say I have *.dae file want to import it from my dropbox or OneDrive, getting errors….Hayxfg76

I tested this and was able to successfully import the model from a zipped folder in DropBox, although I did get errors from OneDrive and I have forwarded your review for our developers to investigate. It portrayed our simple model very well so the client could wholeheartedly understand the design’s conceptual form. Can’t wait to try it with our more complex projects....
