Reviews of The Elder Scrolls

  • Free after about 3 months

A friendly reminder for anyone that wishes to play this game: daily quests (and titles) have ALWAYS been able to be completed by intentionally leaving purchase-able story missions incomplete; gold can be saved nearly indefinitely once you’ve unlocked ONE story chapter as long as you manage to keep at least one mission open for doing so. Some are MUCH easier to farm this way than others. I recommend buying (with gold) the Clockwork City stories as the final mission of its part 3 gives you the best consistent conditions for doing most of the daily quests. Ironically, Clockwork City is the only one you’d want to complete on Master difficulty completely as it gives you an alternate art unique card from the Core set (unsure if Isles of Madness does anything).

Another friendly reminder: you can get always get 300 soul gems per day through practice games against AI; 5, 10, and 15 (unless 285+).

That being said, it should still take about 3-4 months to get enough cards and event tickets to play with others outside of Vs. Arena for fun. It’ll still be a slugfest...but you should have enough cards for it to be fun.

    (Ahh never buy packs themselves)
  • Invade

They ruined this game back,I guess it was, around Christmas 2019 with the ridiculous invade update. The game was, at one point, interesting and complex. Strategy was the name of the game as a vast variety of decks were being deployed and mastered by intelligent inventive players. Since the update all that you encounter is invade decks. Now I’m in no way complaining as I, remain Legendary every month and, dispatch these thoughtless skill less players with ease but its boring and monotonous to do so. The depth of this game should be taken advantage of by all players but I ask to much of mindless zombies. Every month I finish Legend and it is with a different deck I use and tweak the entire month. My mind could not take doing the same thing every match as the invaders do. I still have yet to complete the invade daily quest and it can not be replaced so I only get 2 a day lol. Furthermore I soul trapped all invade cards and continue to do so every time I get one. Game is great when you run into a fresh take on a deck but to see red, white, blue every other match is very disheartening.
  • The Game itself is great but…

It does have a few flaws, the fact that I must buy any extra story is rather annoying and some bosses in the story mode have more than 3 copies of some cards. Another thing which is most annoying idle the fact that I keep getting asked to sign up for an elder scrolls account rather than not being given an option to sign in. Understandably more story can be earned via bought with 1k coins earned but it could be lowered a bit for those; such as myself, who are interested in both story and gameplay. Still, the game mechanics are great, some cards are flawed like the final bosses’s 2 cost card which does 10 damage to any creature. That’s just overall ridiculous. At least make it cost five or four.
