HERO ICE: In Case of Emergency

HERO presents a new initiative to take better care of you. HERO In Case of Emergency or HERO ICE app is a must have application for all road travellers. If you meet with an accident, it auto detects and sends a message to your close loved ones with your current location. HERO ICE is also a convenient way to store personal and medical information on your phone. In case of accident, no sooner the phone collides or drops, HERO ICE pops up on your phone for any nearby helper to refer to. Be sure to open the HERO ICE before you go out for a drive, and simply hit on: Let’s Go! Operation of HERO ICE: • Install and open the app • On personal details page, enter your personal information • Mention your medical information on the next page • Add emergency contacts from among your friends and family, who would be readily available in case of emergency • Your ICE card would be created and ready for use • Open the app before you start your journey and click on ‘Let’s Go’ The app also has a feature to create multiple ICE cards for your friends and family members. It is also advisable to use the ‘Print’ feature to keep a copy of the ICE card handy, Disclaimer: HERO ICE uses smart phone accelerometer and GPS data. It is not 100% accurate and may not work in all situations of accident. Therefore, the instant help message will take sixty seconds to reach emergency contact's phone. In case of wrong alarm, you have the option to dismiss it within a minute's time frame. If your phone is locked, the message would go to the emergency contacts, but the ICE card would only be visible after entering the passcode.
