Love it
I really wanted a list of books I could use to help my 2nd grader know what books would challenge his reading skills but not be too difficult. This has solved my problem.
Doesn’t work
I have tried scanning several books and it can’t find any of them. I cross reference the AR book finder website and they were are AR books.

Download app, tried to scan two different books to test it out. Got an error message for both books. Tried both the bar codes for each book. Deleted app.
Do Not Recommend this App
This App doesn’t find books using search by author or title and it rarely scans. 👎🏼
Thought it was great
I thought this app would be good to do a quick look at the books, but after the first five books it started telling me that they were under a different ISBN or were not AR books. Then I went back and re-scanned the old ones that I had already scanned, and they no longer showed up the correct way that they had before.

Doesn’t find books anymore
Initially, this app was very useful. It would find books just by scanning the barcode. Now it won’t find it by scanning or entering the title. For example, I just tried to look up “How To Train Your Dragon”. It didn’t come up on the scan or manually entering the title. From the AR Bookfinder webpage, when I enter the title on the search line, it comes right up. This book has been out since 2003 so the app should have found it on the title search. This has been continuously happening over the past year. It’s frustrating.

AR book finder
Love how easy this is to use. Sure wish it also included word count. Our schools celebrate words read in addition to quiz scores. I volunteer at my kids’ libraries and this would save a lot of time if it had word count when we mark the books.
Lack of Data
Could be a really good app, however majority of books are not being found. I’ve even tested it by searching for books my daughters have already read in school from the program and 1 out of 10 came up! Needs improvements

This app has saved me so many times this school year. It offered clear, concise information that I needed to help my child succeed during AR testing. This app is very easy to use and so far hasn’t had any “bug” issues for me. Thank you!!!!!!
