Copy of Momento
Blatant copy of the original, Momento app. Even the icon is identical, just with a light green color instead of burgundy, and the white banner is on the left side instead of the right. It's pretty pathetic. I wouldn't even mind this app if it worked better than Momento. The developers are not going to be supporting the app anymore soon, which means you will have to migrate any data you already have on Momento to the Day One app. However, Momento is completely free while Zero has a subscription model where you pay $0.99 every 6 months to unlock the features that Momento already has, minus the data migration feature. Day One 2 is currently free at the time of writing this review on the Apple Store. It's like Momento, but with new and better-looking features, and it's made by the same developers. Just download the app from the App Store. Scroll to almost the bottom of the screen, and you can tap it to download free of charge. However, if you are unlucky enough to be reading this review and Day 1 is not available for free anymore, then just search "journal" or "diary" on the App Store and download any app that is free.
