Does what it says on the tin. After a month I have a way better ear for intervals! Still working through chromatics in the context of major scales.
I recommend just taking your time with it and keeping up practice every week. Don’t “try” too hard to pick the right note, your brain will subconsciously learn the intervals over time.Show lessjjeerrrryyy
Game changed
I’ve been struggling with finding a good method for ear training for years. This changed everything!! I use it along side “complete ear trainer”. They dovetail each other perfectly. I’ve put a lot of work into ear training but never really seen results. This means my progress is quick with this app. But the way it’s changing how my brain conceptualises intervals is significant. No more singing songs to remember the interval. I tested the app out of my partner who isn’t a musician and even she had instant results. Will never talk about “this song is this interval” again. Awesome resource
This is the app that broke the sound barrier for me. After progressing slowly with other apps, this was a welcome change. After regular daily use I am now able to make progress with harder apps and programs. Great job!RS_Heli
This aural training app works for me!!
I’ve been a professional musician for a long time. I recently had to have a month off practising due to a long overdue holiday with my very patient wife. I’ve never not played for that long and was worried. I thought I’d use this app for ~10 minutes a day while one our travels, when I eventually returned to playing I my ears were on fire!! and it was probably the best developmental thing I have ever done as a musician. Great ear training
Practical and useful ear training method. Works well. Best I’ve found. I love the solfege option! The customisation feature is also very helpful, as it enables configuration to fit any pieces you may be working on. Key, scale and note content. So so good
This has enabled me to become aware of pitch of notes. Surprising that after a few weeks of 10 minutes a day I can consistently identify notes correctly across the keyboard. So far I’m still in the key of C but about to go to other keys - brilliant. The fact that it’s free is great. Love it.Geepj

From a mostly untrained ear, I see myself progressing quickly with this app. Excited to keep progressing with it. Thank you for putting out this great tool for free.
Feedback to devs:
1) It would be awesome if there was an option to change the sound from piano to other instruments as well. The different timbre of other instruments makes me significantly less accurate at recognizing scale degrees having trained only on piano sounds.
2) I would love it if you there was an option adjust the speed of the chords and target tone setup for each problem so I could train more in less time.Show lessSantiSEOO
