Mostly good
It’s very nice to be able to control my flexradio from my ipad. Sitting on the deck or away from home. The iPad SmartSDR gives nearly complete functioning of the flex.
Held back on the final star as the user interface does not have any keyboard control. I cannot type in frequencies or use the arrow keys to tune across the bands. While the iPad is primarily a tap-device, the keyboard is a very common accessory and should be supported within the SmartSDR app.Show less0xACE

Dear OM, thanks for your review. Unfortunately, there is no way to access these keys on iOS. I would wish it would be possible and in that case, I won't hesitate to support these keys but it is not possible. My suggestion is to use a MIDI controller like the DJ2GO which is supported by my App.Incredible

Doesn’t work with headphones
My entire English class now knows I’m a nerd (if it wasn’t already apparent). Put my headphones in and started to listen in only to realize everyone else could hear the ATC tower I was tuned into. Please allow for headphone compatibility.Handsomehobbit

Headphones are working but you need to turn the speaker off in the Audio menu. Please everybody, if you have questions or issues, don’t use reviews to let me know. Not ready
Crashes every time I use it for more than 3 minutes. Lost 3 DX calls in progress. Crashed. No info. No reason. Simple setup. Just up and crashed. $60 wasted. Flex 6400M latest iPhone. Software engineer by trade. Seriously. This app is amateur and not in the good way. Flex Systems should be ashamed this is offensively bad. What a sham.Show lessRyanianian

Amazing application for an incredible Flex Radio. Love the FT8/FT4 Integration. I wish there were other modules that could decode CW, RTTY, PSK etc. I’d happily pay more for those.Life-one
Great Unit
Frankly I was tired of playing with raspberry pi, usb dongles and vnc software so I purchased a flexradio and it worked ok with the windows software but was still buggy. Then I got an ipad and WOW, my radio now works great from ANYWHERE. This is the best ham radio software app I’ve ever seen on any device!Show lesscaptain br
