This (along with other forms of studying) gave me the confidence to pass my exam. Obviously, you shouldn’t use this as your ONLY study method, but this app helped me a lot when it came down to practicing the material learned. Loved that I could use it on my laptop as well. I have to say that pocket prep is worth every penny. I successfully used it to pass my CompTIA Network + exam a few months back, and I am confident that it will help me prepare for Security + as well. I have tried using websites with exam questions, (which provide the same function for free) but the intuitiveness and ease of use make this my go to choice. Should be used as a supplement ONLY!
The easy to use interface and convenience of the app is what attracted me to buy the full version. However, after taking the security+ test today, I quickly realized that none of the questions on the actual test are setup like the questions in the app. They are all scenario based and a couple performance based. So do not solely rely on this app as it does not prep you for the 90% scenario based questions on the actual test.

Do not make in app purchase
For one, they won’t refund your money. Additionally, this app and the “500” questions are largely useless. The questions are poorly written by someone who obviously had a very surface level comprehension of cyber security. I have helped developed the cyber curriculum for the US Military and also have a degree in cyber operations. This app will not assist you in the exam.
To the developer: your “tireless hours” working on these questions were worthless. Fire whoever wrote them. Some of them are actually not just poorly written, but wrong.Show lessCrj9319

If you're dissatisfied with our Sec+ app's curriculum, you can contact Apple directly to request a refund. A lot of hard work did go into creating our SY0-501 content, which has made a positive impact in many people's study routines. This is evidenced by the hundreds of positive ratings and reviews others have posted. We realize we can't please everyone but calling the app worthless just isn't fair.Not sure

Connectivity
App would be five stars but I’m unable to use it places I don’t get cell service. I really don’t understand why it doesn’t have an offline mode where I can just do basic things like review questions. Also when I do have service loading times seem unusually long.Utilityname

Hello! The app does its best to work in areas with poor connectivity. That said, if you're have issues with the app in these areas, try setting your device to Airplane Mode. This will force the app into offline mode for a smoother study experience. App is a good study tool however it keeps freezing and closing out in the middle of a test. I paid for this app so it’s kinda annoying that it’s acting up :-/jenfourti
Constant crash
This app crashes on a regular basis. It resets my progress and asks me to make an account. After the third time I obliged thinking that it was going to save my progress. Nope! My flagged questions...gone, my test histories... gone. I spent $15 for an app that crashes and can’t provide me with what it advertises. So frustrating.Show lessLoS3150

I love this! It should not be used as your only reference, but it provides you the ability to do quick quizzes where ever you have time. It can help you solidify some of the core concepts.
