The app all 4 HUE is the easiest app to use to control your Hue lights. Other apps have such complicated “rules” and the timers are horrible. I’ve been on Apple Mac’s since 1989 so I can usually navigate to find a solution to fit my needs but not on most Hue apps. All I need to do now is figure out how to separate lights in a group so I can put alternate “turn off” on one of them. I bet I find it relatively quick! Thank you all 4 HUE crew.Show lesssilverhawk1

You can easily create new light groups in the section "Groups & Rooms" in the app. Just press the PLUS symbol in the title bar in this section and select the lights you want to group in the new group with the checkboxes. If you want to have only one light in your new group, just select one of them. If you need further assistance, please contact apps@rene-wahl.de and your request will be answered within 12h. The developer is unresponsive. I purchased the full version because the limited version is, well, limited and allows virtually nothing to be done. The full version is clunky and not intuitive. Have fun with my 4$. Deleted.Sailorcrew

I try to answer all mails but sometimes it needs up to three days due to the large amount of requests. I am sure I have answered your request. In the meantime there is an update of this app available with a lot of improvements - also regarding user interface. I hope this helps. Good app but no way to adjust the time around subset or sunrise.

Sunrise and sunset are detected automatically by the hue bridge based on the defined location (GPS coordinates). In the app you can define offsets for sunrise and sunset, e.g. you can specify that "sunset" should be triggered 20 min before the real sunset. I am currently working on a large update for this app. It will contain a new and modern UI and will support much more rules and sensors. I plan to release the update mid of October.Finally
Finally an app that allows you to easily save scenes. I can now group the same lights into different scenes. One suggestion: make the scene selector a toggle on and off. It would be great to turn the lights in a scene off with the same button. Good app with some room for improvement but I'm glad I found it.Show lessMaxCredits
My favorite Hue Controller
while the interface isn't as pretty as the others the functionality is better. I searched for what is considered to be the best Hue apps and after trying those I'm keeping this one. It just works when the others didn't. Sunrise and sunset scheduling was my priority and All 4 Hue came through with no issues.Show lessUserInWisconsin
