  • Great concept, HORRIBLE execution

My app never loads. I can quit out and reopen yet still encounter the same problem. Currently, it is stuck on “second chances” and no matter what button I push it will not bring me back to the main screen. Downloading and using this app has been painful but I powered through so I could help potentially set my cousin up with someone. I thought it would be fun. Now it’s just frustrating and, sadly, I am unmotivated to use the app.

Hi, We are so sorry about the issues you experienced, thank you very much for your feedback, we have now fixed these bugs on the latest update and you should be able to play Wingman again :)
  • Not a Safe App for Dating

I was matched with 3 different men on wingman and all three of them were scammers. One had stolen the identity of Chris Cuomo from CNN and trying to run a bitcoin scam and another had stolen international Model Gael Nicolas picture and trying to run a travel scam. I tossed the app and went back to a pay site that vets their clients and authenticates photo before posting. Because wingman is free it attracts scammers use with great caution.

  • Only good thing is the premise.

The premise of the app is great but my goodness, there are so many app glitches. I have to say no to the same guy at least 10 times! It just never goes away. And the only way to clear a notification is to completely reboot the app. It’s incredibly annoying to get an alert of a like, only to see it’s the same 3 guys in circulation that you already weren’t interested in (mind you, they’re in other states!). Maybe once more people join and the developers fix these glitches, it’d be a great app. But as of now, it’s just annoying.

  • Great in theory

First of all, there are not enough people on this app to make it successful. I swiped through the people in my area very quickly, there were about 5 of them. When the developers started allowing people to introduce themselves instead of requiring a wingman to do it, I started getting guys interested in me that really felt like scam/catfishing. Everyone has tattoos and says they are in the military and is constantly sending me things saying they want to connect. I’ve had probably close to 10 of this same type of dude.

  • Love the idea, still trying out the app

Read about this idea somewhere and decided to give it a try. So far it looks pretty good except for that there’s not hat many people on it. I do think that this app actually encourages you to read people’s profile so that’s a big difference.
    For the team:
Maybe work on advertising a little more so there can be more users? I see super great potential in this app and definitely expect it to surpass tinder super soon in the serious dating world! Great idea and a great job with it!

  • Stop looking at reviews and just Give it a try

I had a lot of story time worthy moments from this app but I also met my boyfriend.
  • Thank you

I did not think that i would take the app seriously until i met this!
  • There’s nobody here

I live in a major metropolitan area, and there were like ten people in my (generous) age bracket within a forty mile radius. Also, it’s kind of creepy that if your wingman suggests you to someone and that someone accepts, they’re just foisted upon you and you get no say in the matter. So then you’re stuck awkwardly having to either ignore them or start a conversation, even if you are not interested.

And on the technical side, the badge app icon notifications don’t go away after you view them. For someone who likes a clean, notification-free home screen on their phone, it’s really irritating.

  • Cool idea

My friend convinced me to make a profile for this and I agreed because it seems like a pretty cool idea. For the most part, the app seems to work well but there are two big issues that came up for me. First, since my wingman created my profile before I accepted, it made her redo the stuff she did on her end. Second, whenever I try to remove a picture on my profile it crashes the app and keeps the picture on my profile. Other than those two issues, awesome idea and good looking app!

  • Just a suggestion...

It’s fun to use, but unfortunate that not too many people are on it in my friend’s area. One suggestion would be to let the wingman send a note when they pick a match for their friend telling that person why they think their friend would like them.
