Great for a beginner
It is easy to learn how to use this app and I have no real experience with trading. I suspect the actual information is not quite 100% real time but certainly good enough for what i do. I started off buying a few shares here and there to see how they perform and then built on those hunches. Taking any note of media I found was always too late or a red herring so I started to realise how trends affect the market and near competitors. In my first year i returned a profit percentage superior to my professionally managed investments although i was of course risking loss as the investments were small value. This year the margins are better and bigger as I get more confident and master the hang of identifying how traders work and when to buy and sell.
My advice is to start small take an interest in the companies and their products and then you will understand how the market responds to their trading. Enjoy the process rather than looking to kill and the profit comes on its own.

Customer service is very poor
Very poor response and response speed from customer service. Watch out!
Limited offering of ETFs creates unfair trading landscape
I really want to like them but their platform hasn’t improved in years. I went there originally 7+ years ago because I thought they were a startup and would evolve their tech but no… even though they must make a lot from trades.
Doesn’t offer some of the most basic ETFs and the platform is extremely slow at times.

Horrible UI / UX
I had to transfer my portfolio from Trade Republic to Degiro because I moved out of the EU and I’m very unhappy about this switch. Degiro’s UI came straight out of a horror movie, it’s extremely difficult to understand what is happening with my portfolio. Investing was fun, but this app made me lose the will to invest (and live tbh). Full of jargon, pages full of information, overloaded with options, extremely cluttered and chaotic. Not to mention the obsession with acronyms. Actively looking for an alternative in the UK. This app is stuck in 2010 or something and I want out.

Not very impressed
Since I do prefer to use the app as opposed to the desktop version so I can access it all on the go, I would expect a much better interface. My latest issue is that an accidentally edited tax form cannot be removed/deleted and keeps popping up despite deleting the app with all its data then reinstalled it again. Customer Service even moved my profile to a different server, yet the problem persists… Can’t understand why there is not an option to cancel/delete a draft form in the first place, but the only option is to submit it?? Where is common sense??
Genuinely I have found with the DeGiro app that once there is a bug in there, it takes forever until their developers rectify it and they do get very nuisance too.

Excellent platform
For a beginner I found Degiro wonderfully intuitive to use. It functions reliably, explains why I can't or shouldn't do what I'm trying to do and very clearly lays out what the charges are. If Degiro offered an ISA I would have no need for any other investment platform

It is incredible that a financial institute has such a terrible app. Half of the time it is not connecting to their server; it leaks memory, and the list of not working components goes on and on and on. I really wonder how it is possible that a trading platform has such a bad app. It tells me not to trust this trading platform. I wish I could give them negative stars. They say they were awarded the best stock trading app. Are these other apps even worse?

Couldn´t verify my Spanish ID
Tried to verufy my ID did´t work the systme logged me out and keeps making me to log in and to repeat the cycle, no error message, just like an infinite loop..
