Stock splits and other disfunction
After the AVGO (10% of portfolio) split my historical portfolio value is off by ~100% due to the app’s inability to properly deal with the change in ex-split share price (it treats it as a 90% decline in share price rather than a split adjustment). The result is that my current portfolio value is correct but my pre-split portfolio value is approximately 2x what it was, and as a result all of my performance is showing large declines.
The 1D and 5D performance is okay, but 1M and longer all include this error.
Nvidia split had a similar problem earlier this year but that resolved itself within a day.
Other user comments about upgrading to portfolio 2.0 already had me wondering whether I should just give up on Yahoo Finance (after a decade), and this problem is pushing me more in that direction. I don’t want to switch to something else because of the enormous inconvenience, but as the problems stack up it is getting harder to stay.
This is a big miss. Please fix.Show lessDeveloper Response

Cons
Ads. Embedded all over the feed of articles!
Not just ads, but some of the internets worse garbage ads that lie as a marketing strategy. Bankrupt practices.
Premium articles that also clog up article feed that are not truly premium as the naming suggests. Just normal articles behind a pay wall.
Articles are biased and poorly authored. Just your usual clickbait garbage telling you something that was true perhaps yesterday or that was grossly over exaggerated.
Feedback feature is useless. I took the time to provide feedback only to have an email sent to me telling me how to provide feedback in the exact way I already had.
This is usable if you ignore the articles. That’s why I’ll give it a 2/5.
Sick and tired of companies just writing robotic apologies when their products are doing exactly what they were designed to do. Sure they might be nose blind to their own stench, however you can’t tell me the ad and premium systems aren’t doing exactly what they were planned for. They just didn’t expect someone to take the time to call them out on it.
Like many companies before them, they’ll likely do nothing. In the event they do anything it’ll only be if enough backlash occurs. Not if a solo person’s opinion doesn’t align with their productShow lessDeveloper Response
We're really sorry to hear that you're disappointed with our app :( We have noted your feedback and will be exploring further. Thanks! ~ Yahoo Finance TeamSyncing Issues
I use this app daily and am so grateful to have access to it, however, for the last year there has been a syncing issue that has gotten progressively worse. Since I don’t make big changes it wasn’t a big deal at first. But over time I have made some new acquisitions and lately a few reallocations. These shifts in funds have not been accurately demonstrated in the app. This means that the app is showing a totally different portfolio than what I have. I’ve had to manually add the new assets into a separate folder to follow them. This does not give me an accurate portrayal of my finances. I’ve searched for a fix but only seem to come up with things that place the burden on my end. For example, clear my cache. I find that to be the most basic response when a company isn’t working to solve the issue. There are so many people frustrated with this issue. Additionally, if you are aiming towards having all parties paying customers, it seems a better tactic to have an extremely good working app and charge in tiers. Personally, I would consider paying a small subscription fee for a working app over an app that doesn’t work. As it stands now, I would not pay for this app service. It is very unfortunate because this app is vital with the information it provides. I’m hopeful a fix or some support for this issue can be provided.Show lessDeveloper Response
