Disappointed with the New Direction
I’ve been a longtime user of the Yahoo Fantasy Football app and always appreciated its clean, intuitive UI. It was simple to navigate, and you could tell a lot of thought went into making the user experience streamlined and efficient. It truly felt like the developers cared about functionality as much as aesthetics, and for a while, it was hands down the best tool in its category.
However, with this latest update, it seems like they got too excited about reinventing the wheel. While the new design *looks* great at first glance, it’s overly complicated, with way too many features and menus crammed in. The layout is busy and confusing, making it a chore to find what used to be easily accessible. Instead of improving the core experience, they added layers of unnecessary complexity that seem more about showing off than solving problems.
Functionally, the old version was smooth, but now things feel clunky and counterintuitive. It’s a shame because I used to love this app, but the focus has clearly shifted from providing a seamless user experience to rolling out flashy, undercooked features. Worst update I’ve ever seen
I used to love yahoo as the go to fantasy app. But now it just got terrible. The UI is completely gone. A million clocks to get to one team or another. On the iPad I could at least pull up stat tracker which was the best update to have. It works amazing. Now that option has been removed along with other counterintuitive updates for unknown reasons. On this last update I could at least click on a score for a sports game and then it would pull up stattracker and then I could go to another sport or team pretty easily. Once nfl starts it seems that option gets disabled when nfl games are live. Like for what reason would you remove your best feature. It makes no logical sense. And then to make your “updates” to work backwards and not be helpful at all. Literally right before fantasy football too. So frustrating. Looks like I’ll be using the web address and no longer will use this app. It’s become useless to me until another update fixes your latest updates. Or a rollback. Bare minimum bring back the ability to use stattracker. Which is your greatest strength.Show lessLupi619
