Great features, bad design and mechanics
I’ve been using the Y! Fantasy app for many years for a NFL and NBA fantasy league. This new update interface is TERRIBLE. It’s hard to navigate and makes it difficult to get to the Daily Fantasy page which is surprising they’d make it so difficult to access a feature that involves paying to play. Despite that, my biggest gripe is the mechanics of their location services which are required to enter paid DFS contests. I always turn my location services on before entering paid contests but almost every single time I try to enter my lineup a popup saying I need to allow Y! to access my location, I click allow (even though I already allowed) and it opens up settings page on iPhone showing that I have it set to allow already and have location services on already. The only way to get it to work is to close the app which means my lineup gets erased and I possibly lose my spot in the contest if I can’t redo the lineup before it fills. It’s extremely annoying especially since it happens every time and I play almost every day for NBA and every Sunday for NFL. It’s frustrating

Horrible update, horrific UI, it’s like there was absolutely no user testing - if you’ve been playing fantasy previously with yahoo I suspect this will be your last year. Update has made the app so un-enjoyable. Moving to fantrax next season after 9 years with yahoo.

Too many ads
It ruins the entire experience when you bombard us with ads. I would reluctantly even pay to remove them.
New app is terrible
Why try and fix something that isn’t broken? The new app is an absolutely terrible user experience. Much harder to actually see anything as everything is more zoomed in than before.
Rollback to the previous version!
I only use this app for Fantasy NBA and im disgusted at how bad and awkward it is.
Just to view my team or players requires so much effort.
Theres so much wasted space on the screen that isnt relevant. A huge purple ad covering the screen that says Play Fantasy Hoops when im already in a league is dumb.
Either fire the UX person or hire one.
I can adapt to change but this is definitely a step backwards.

Worst update ever
The new update is so unintuitive - hard to navigate, stupidly narrow font and frustrating interface. It also now automatically added me to a basketball league I’ve never even heard of or wanted.
AWFUL Update - app has regressed
The UI and usability of the Yahoo since your major update is HORRIFIC! I don’t know why you decided to butcher the app for us fantasy users but it is just so much more annoying to use now, and a longer process. For instance, see attached screenshot and look at the circle I made referring to the bottom menu on the app. In this instance I have gone into a league members team to view his players while on the app. However, because of this new update while I am viewing a team I cannot go to “matchups” or “league” or “team” directly from this page anymore. In the previous and much better version, I could simply refer to the bottom menu and go to any of the quoted options mentioned above from that very location. Now as you can see in the screenshot, I have to go back in the top left corner and then go to the option again, in a much more inconvenient location at the top of the screen might I add. There’s a famous saying if it ain’t broken, don’t fix it. Shame on you for making these abysmal changes and I hope that an incoming update is coming in ASAP to remedy the situation and improve usability as this is a total joke. You have butchered the app I love and come onto daily during the nba season. Please fix it before it’s too late.

Previous app version much better
Please revert to the old app. I only play fantasy bball and now I have to click through multiple menus just to get to my team. Frustrating app to use now.
Moving to Fantrax
At first I liked the design change elements, but the fact the useful tabs have moved from the bottom of the screen where they were accessible to the top is genuinely a deal breaker. I HATE fantrax’s app but my league wants to go to Fantrax next season if this is still going on
