  • Become an interplanetary space traveler!

This is a fun game so far! Has a retro vibe. Great!
  • Want to love but flaws are prevalent

This is a game that takes the “drug wars” kind of theme and makes it accessible to all ages with additional features that are unique (like investments). I’m impressed with the quality of the game to start, but something makes the game breakdown once you’ve added a lot of mileage on your ship (I’m on month 1807).

I have an iPhone 6s Plus - equipped with plenty of memory considering the simple graphics of the game. I believe it starts to run out of memory due to the investment graphs but could be wrong. When I attempt to set sale for another planet, it starts to lag severely and ends up crashing. I rebooted my iPhone to see if that would help, but no dice.

I also noticed that it will prompt to travel to a planet (sometimes different than the intended) after embarking. You must hit cancel, or it will get confused during the countdown. You’ll have to kill the app to get it out of this state.

    What I love:
    - simple game that begs for “one more turn”
    - trading mechanism that’s from a familiar genre
    - investment mechanism, though it’s easy to exploit
    - whimsical graphics adds to the novelty of the game

    What I frown upon:
    - memory leak based crashes making continuing unplayable
    - limited random encounters (makes for redundant play)
    - market volatility can be exploited because bonds ARE steady; I make billions in dividends with little worry
    - no pirates to fight (that’d be a great addition)
    - no ship customizations (speed, weapons, cargo hold, etc.); lots of potential here
    - more destinations would be nice to add variety

Overall, it’s starts off as a great game but needs some programming TLC to cement it as one of the greats. I’m looking forward to enhancements to put this game over the top.

  • Fun trading game

It’s nice to just play a retro-inspired time passer. Whilst I’m sure you can spend a lot of time recording data, it’s also easy just to pick up and play waiting for the bus, the wife, the whatever.

It’d be nice (although not nice, if you know what I mean) if there was more random events. It’s a little easy. Perhaps space pirates or calamitous price crashes.

  • Great game but crashes often and eventually bricked

This is a really great game, and I really really want to keep playing it. Problem is that as soon as I hit 1mill in investments it lags so much and crashes every time I try to travel. Not only does the game die, it also bills me for my travel costs, even though I never actually reached my destination. At this point my game is bricked until there is hopefully a fix. So enjoy yourself up to 1 mill, then don’t be surprised if it crushes your hopes and dreams from then on.

  • Good basic game but too easy and crashes a lot

    Would be five stars if:
    1) I hadn’t got the biggest ship and been able to retire to the most expensive location in one day.
    2) didn’t crash many times whenever I tried to make a long journey

If these could be fixed then the game would be 5 stars
  • Nice space trade sim

    Very nice trading sim
  • Blast from the past!

I haven’t even started playing this game (so there may be some bugs I’m not aware of), but I can tell you that I’m super excited. The second I saw the first few shots I recognized it as a game I had back in the day on my palm pilot (and I mean back in the day, like almost two decades?). I loved that game and I can’t wait to play it again, but in better color! And what seems like added features!

Now if I could only find the Star Trek space battle game I used to play on it too....
