Hands down better than HUJI
WowzaATTN: Developer...
I ordinarily never use preset filters, but I fell for your pitch about your unique “film/chemistry randomization” approach, and I’m glad I did. Love it. But now, one suggestion: create a Slideshow mode that cycles through an infinite universe of shot variations. Say with a 5-10 second cycle and continuous dissolve.

I was expecting a more manual editing software but its just a bunch of filters. Waste of money. Dont get this app.nice
very nice for quick randomized stylizing of colors and texture of photos. for more in depth editing use RNI Films. As a huge film photography fan, I’m in love.
This app is exactly what I’ve been looking for and I was so excited to find it. I absolutely love film, but it can get really expensive, unfortunately. This app creates such realistic grain and that special look with different kinds of film that now I can use it with not only my iPhone photos, but also my DSLR photos (that’s how much I love it).
I also love the unexpectedness with the editing. It’s almost like using an instant camera (something I’m also a huge fan of!). I love being able to love an edit and also being able to just click through while the app does its thing. I’m very happy I spent the money on this!Show lessBigger screen support
Great app, great filters!! would be nice to have tools and the UI make use of the iPhone X screen though.Mixed feelings
First I'll start off with the things I like about the app which are:
1. The concept is cool that you get unique images each time you use the randomizer
2. There have been great images that have resulted from using Flashback
The cons:
1. I wish there was a way to reduce the strength of the filter outcome on pictures there were times where it was a bit too much for my personal preference
2. I have the iPhone X and the app screen size ratio is not compatible at all with my phone there's black borders all around the app which is annoying since my whole phone screen could be put to use.Show lessDeveloper Response
Hi unaxluna, Thanks for using RNI Flashback! You actually can reduce the strength of the look — just enable the advanced interface in settings and it will give you a number of adjustments including the Strength. Cheers ;-)Doesn’t work with latest iPhone update?
I’ve LOVED this app for experimenting with different editing looks, but it doesn’t seem to work with the latest iPhone update. Halp! How about new iPhones?
I have been taking pictures with my old iPhone 6. However, looking to improve the whole result I save to get a new iPhone. This was one of the apps that I download immediately. To my surprise the interface is not yet updated to enjoy the huge screen.
I believe this app makes art out of a probably not so well though image taken on whatever moment. This is one of those apps that really educate your eye to keep the pictures looking fantastic. Moreover, it probably will keep you inspired to get out and shoot Really Nice Images.
It will be nice if the app gets updated to make the experience nicer on the new huge screens!Show lessDeveloper Response
Sorry about the delay. Just updated the app to fully support iPhone X/Max displays. Hope you'll enjoy it.Nice filters offered but crashes
I really love all of the filter options but this app often crashes and I have to delete it and reinstall it for it to work again. Also, it would be great to be able to save favorites or adjust the strength of the filters.Developer Response
