Update needed

I got a new iPhone with the new firmware now I’m not about to Connect to any of my 4 robots
Plz help I thing the app new needs a new update

Went bad

Quit working after a few months and had to stay on the dock. The manufacturer would never reply to me. Then a few months later it would not log on to the app even when on the base charging. It got what others have called the blue loiter of death. Good idea. Poorly built or needs updates which never came.

Back working again finally

Ok after talking to customer service I now know how to connect my tmobile iPhone 7s plus to my appbot Riley. It's simple and easy all you have to do is put your phone in airplane mode and then hook up the robot to the app with Wi-Fi and then once holed up go back into settings and turn off airplane mode and your done easy steps to get going again. I hope this helps others.

This companion app works flawlessly with Riley. You need to try all that is available to experience how useful Riley can be.

Not working

Constant connection problems when trying to use remotely just does not work.

Wow great

This little guy (Riley) is perfect. I bought it so my grandson could with his pad drive up and visit and talk with Grandpa. He does it well at 4-1/2 but not everything. As for me I can drive around and check the house whe away. The app is perfect with every plan thought of even night vision. The one thing I wish it had was a close the app button, it feels kind of strange just pushing the desktop button to leave. Oh one other thing it needs is to hold infrared on at night when watching the home for motion, it detects motion yes but it’s nighttime.

Major flaws

Hardware and software flaws, big waste of money, seems like the developer doesn’t care at all.

Pretty cool

First If you were getting that weird screen that says to go to their support page, their support page offers no help. I spent two days trying to get connected and then I finally figured out if you go into your settings and turn off cellular data for appbot Riley then connect to it via Wi-Fi when you go in you will get a message that says appbot is not connected to cellular. Ignore it and proceed (If you don’t have an option to proceed Humour it and click on settings (be sure it is still turned off) if not turn off cellular data again and go back in the app. It let me right in).
