Picked up my Ukulele finally !
I finally sat down and decided to play my Ukulele after it was sitting in its box, never to have seen the light of day. I was using it without toning it because I just wanted to get the feel of the chords. Once I got the chords down I went to the app store and downloaded this because I didn't want to pay for a tuner. It took me a second to get accustomed to it but I was not disappointed it sounds so nice and did I mention free? Don't get frustrated with the auto-tune just slow down and take it one string at a time. Love the appShow lessstepphhho
Tuning
The past few years I have lost my inner tuning n have played my blues I guess flat by some semi tones , I find this ap useful to get into normal standard tunings . Thank youD tuned
Don’t get this app!
This so called tuner can’t do anything! Whenever I try and tune my guitar it constantly thinks I’m tuning a completely different string and it’s incredibly annoying when all I want to do is play my guitar and I spend 10 minutes (not an exaggeration) trying to use this stupid app. I’m not sure about the pro tuner because I’m not willing to pay for something on an app that I don’t like and that doesn’t work! I’m not being fussy but it really isn’t a good app.Show lessanonymous980765
Great app but has some issues
I really love this app! I use it all the time and generally don’t tend to have issues. Today I tried to save my own custom tuning, it failed. I googled it and it said I had to create an account, fair enough. When I went to sign up, the button doesn’t work. Is there any way around this or do I just have to alternate between tuning presets to get the custom tuning that I want? Thanks!Show less12MayaK
Free chromatic tuner … enough said!
I used to use Guitar Toolkit in its heyday when it worked as it was a great chromatic tuner. After that one broke, I found all the alternatives were designed for standard tuning 6 string guitars … other tuning was extra dosh … bit cheeky if you ask me! Looks like other apps trying to sponge off newbie guitar players. This Fender tuner removes barriers for guitar players to indulge in their creativity by offering a simple free chromatic tuner … after all, us creatives don’t make a lot of money! It makes tuning easy for guitar of different tunings and for ukulele — a great all round app!Show lessBinko1999
Needs A standard tuning
I would give this app a 5 star but the only thing holding back the app is that it needs is an A standard or A# standard tuning. rlly wish it was on but other than that it’s rlly good yeadesolatespecter

Picking up my sons’ old electric guitar from the back of the garage. I cleaned it up and installed new strings. Now I’ve just used the ‘auto tune’ having watched the intro videos on how to tune. Brilliant ! Educational and very easy to follow with good guidance.

Selection of tuning
I love how there are heaps of different tunings and the custom tuning for your favourite songs which you get for free. Most other apps make you pay for this. Only criticism is both the the auto and pro tuner have trouble picking up acoustic frequencies and makes it a slight hassle to tune sometimes. Maybe how the mic analyses sound is different because the Guitar Tuna app works just fine. Overall handy app.Show lessTombo_101010
