How the hell do i log in
So I got the wifi extender to work I guess??
But I can’t log in and it keeps saying connection timeout. So I tried to reboot/restore but it won’t let me die to connection timeout.
What the hell is this? This is what prison is like?dhhhhh7

I have the latest firmware installed on my extenders. Had to manually upgrade through the asus router web site for my mesh router. Was able to use this app to login to both extenders but when clicking on anything the app crashes and closes. I have iOS 16 installed on iPhone 14 pro max.tandel1967

The ASUS Extender app works well when it works. It is handy for quickly adding an extender to an existing WiFi network. However, it exits randomly and appeared to lose track of an extender when I changed the “nickname.” It is also a quick place to lookup names and settings from your phone, but there is limited functionality. For example, a signal meter with a graph and averaging would help with positioning the extender.Show lessDavid_Not_in_Cambridge

Constant crashes
The app constantly crashes, don’t even need to try performing an action. Just basic scrolling causes it to crashbrdude1986

Use ASUS Router App Instead
If you have an ASUS router, just use the regular ASUS Router app and configure your extender from within that app, not this. It takes 5 minutes from within the ASUS Router app and works like a charm.Tim Roby
Garbage
Don’t waste your time and money on this rubbish. Garbage software and the RP-AX56 wouldn’t connect to my router. Tech support tried hard but failed. Quick start guide is vague, ambiguous and totally unhelpful. Do better, Asus.EconoGarry
