Thank you for a brilliant calendar!!!

I've checked out a TON of calendars for grad school, because I'm finally admitting to myself that I need to use one. Pod IS THE ONE! It works with siri, it shows my events and to-dos on one screen, I love how colorful I can make my days and months, the today widget makes it quick to use, as does the natural language input, AND it's completely accessible with VoiceOver!!! Thank you so much, developers!
If I could make one suggestion, it would be the ability to link to-dos to events. For example, adding topics to my study time, or questions I want to ask during class, or groceries while I'm shopping. The reminders work just fine, although they do make things a bit cluttered.
Keep up the amazing work!

Great calendar app!

I really like this calendar app. I’ve have other calendars, but they are not as quick to use. I can enter the date and information quickly. When you’re standing there at the reception desk and trying to put something in your calendar, it is an awkward moment. The receptionist has things to do! I also love this app because I just don’t get a dot that something is happening, I can get a quick description on the full calendar. It is fast and very friendly to use. It is now my “go to” calendar. Thank you!

Works for me and great support

I have been using pod for a while now and once you accept that this is a work in progress and does offer many of the things others don’t then you start to see its full potential.
It a great app. The developers listen to your thoughts and help quickly with any issues.
Right now it does what it says it will do and that’s fine by me. Keep up the good work guys the apps got so much more to give 👍👍

Almost Perfect

In my never ending quest to work with and instead of against my ADHD I am always looking for the perfect calendar app and I have almost found it. Time is something that people with ADHD don’t do well, they call it being time blind. As a result, I need to be told exactly when I need to leave to arrive somewhere on time and that is the one feature missing from this app. If this app could calculate travel time and remind you when to leave, it would be perfect.

Right now I use two other apps, one of which being the native iPhone app because they calculate travel time, but I would happily give them up for Pod if it would also tell me when to leave.

Not quite perfect.

I’ve been using POD for awhile now and I love how easy it is to keep track of not only my daily schedule but also being able to plan my months in advance is pretty cool. The only thing keeping me from 5 stars are a few quality of life changes. Why can’t I invite my personal contacts to a friends list via their phone numbers. Why can’t I then share events with them? Or be able to upload my work schedule and openly share that with anyone on my list? I do really like like this app and will continue use it and hope to see some more features in the future.

Perfection

I’m really picky about calendar apps. I’ve tried several others and never quite loved one until I started using Pod. It’s so great. It lets you add events and reminders. It will pull reminders and events you’ve set in the iOS calendar and reminder applications, but you can also add reminders and events from inside Pod and they will automatically also be added to the iOS calendar and reminder applications. This makes it really easy to stay organized across devices and share a calendar with my partner. I don’t think I could possibly be happier with this.

Pod does what it says

I have tried better than 15 various calendar/agenda apps over the years. What I’ve found each time is that I prefer the easy integration of a single app that does agenda/contacts/tasks. That said, I recently retired and question whether I still need so many functions in an agenda app.

I love Pod’s appearance. It “pops” for me especially in the black mode. I could make this my one and only daily agenda app If:

1) it had a running continuous Agenda with no end, so I could scroll through any number of days hunting for events (since there are no icons, which I also miss). Fanatics Informant 5 does this very well

2) if the Agenda and Contacts were integrated, including in search results. Ex: search for John Doe and all references to him show from the Agenda and Contacts

Task integration wouldn’t be necessary for my part. I have a habit of simply calendaring my tasks using a special color for all of them.

Pod is a beautiful app and I’m confident changes will happen. Since I know nothing about app coding I have no concept of how hard my suggestions would be to implement or even if anyone else would want them.

Thanks for your hard work bringing Pod to life!

Almost fantastic

I really dig this app — even though I almost never invite contacts to events (one of the app’s main features), the interface is super intuitive and makes me like it more than other third-party apps and the stock iOS app.

However, there are a couple features the stock app does well that this one could benefit from:

- Remembered events: If I start typing the name of an event I’ve had in my calendar before, it should offer to fill in the details (event name, time/duration, location, calendar) automatically. This is hugely helpful — entering the same data time and time again gets tiresome.

- “Time to leave” alert: The current alerts (all amounts of minutes before the event start) are minimally useful to me, as most of my events require traveling. Having the app check traffic and let me know when I should hit the road (and maybe being able to click through to a preferred navigation app?) would rock.

I’m so close to using this as my main calendar app — I think it deserves to be that. It’s a smart, clean, well-made app, and a few feature additions like these should give it a place on my home screen.

Better than the default calendar app

Same simple and intuitive interface but the viewing options are better than the default app. If they changed the icon to reflect the date, I’d definitely give it a 5-star rating.

Seems good

Seems like a good calendar app, I’m mostly looking for a way to copy specific events to specific days of the week over a period of time. Like my class schedule doesn’t change for months but I don’t want to type it in over and over, same thing with my work schedule. Having that feature would be convenient because even though it doesn’t change it helps to visualize what I have going on when I have to schedule in other things. If I’m missing the way to do that my bad.

Good app overall, this was my only hang up.

Edit: Didn’t even think about using the repeat event every week option, oops! Thank you for the response, this will be my dedicated calendar now. A suggestion: let us set a specific date to repeat the event up until a certain date i.e. make it end the last day of classes.

Response from developer

Great feedback. We're thinking a lot about how to make copying events really easy. Stay tuned! One approach right now might be to do "repeating" events - when if you have a class every Monday at 10am, you can set up the event to "recur." Sometimes it is easiest to set all this up in your Desktop calendar app (Google Calendar, etc), but once you do Pod will display it. If you use Google Calendar on the web, here is their article on how to do that: https://support.google.com/calendar/answer/37115?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en
