Beautiful watch junk software
My kronaby watch is one of the most attractive and sturdy I’ve ever owned but I have had no positive experiences with the functionality this app is intended to support after the initial set up. I’ve owned my watch for about three weeks and absent literally resetting my phone or re-installing the app there has been no connection to my device. This was incredibly disappointing as I was beyond excited to purchase my kronaby.
So, with all that said I figured I’d reach out to them for support and that’s when my respect for this brand began to dissolve all together.
Kronaby customer support is near impossible to get a hold of regarding this issue and when folks on social media replied back I was told to do two obvious things
1. Reach out to customer support at the appropriate link.... yea!!!! I did that initially!!!
2. Check my spam folder for their response. Which, I’m sure, is important for them to say (like when people tell you to attempt to turn off an electronic device and turn it back on before further troubleshooting) but feels condescending when no one outside of their social media team is actually contacting you.
Save yourself several hundred bucks and purchase your smart watch elsewhere. I’ll update this if kronaby gets its functionality in line.
UPDATE:
- after all the back and forth Kronaby reached out to set up a call (internationally from Switzerland to LA) and informed me this was an uncommon issue and that they felt like it may have been my specific watch. The new watch has had absolutely no connectivity issues for the few days I’ve had it. Thank you Kronaby for doing the right thing and working all this out even if it took a while to get there.Show lessadensityofsoul
Great watch, lousy app.
The watch is beautiful, but works poorly as a smart watch since recent app updates. App regularly does not recognize watch is connected to my iPhone, despite verifying Bluetooth connection. Therefore the activity tracking often does not record daily activity even though the watch is, because it won’t connect. Constantly have to power phone on and off to get app to recognize watch.Show lesskmmj58
great concept
Replaced my apple watch and I’m not looking back. I think that the pusher functions and complications should be interchangeable. For example, I need both the timer and date function when I work, but only one can be assigned to the main button which controls the watch face. I don’t see why the timer can’t be assigned to the main button while the date is assigned to one of the pushers - both could still display on the main face depending on which was pushed.
Likewise, if the watch has a sub dial, this should equally be allowed to be assigned to the the timer - why must the timer only be on the main face?
These changes would allow flexibility of function without losing the simplicity of the design.
A complication on my wish list: A chronograph would be great as the watch has no second hand.
All in all though, I love this elegant watch, which I understand is completely made by this company from the watch mechanism to the app. I look forward to future updates.Show lessTBonePickenz

Hi Thank you for the feedback. Our thought behind separating what the pushers and crown button can do come down to the separation between what happens on your watch and what happens on your phone. The crown button activates functions on the watch face and the pushers activate functions on the phone. This is to keep simplicity and cohesiveness in the app in the beginning but might be something we will open up for change in future releases upon user requests. /Kronaby TeamSuper cool watch.
