Extremely slow and insecure payment
Payment process is EXTREMELY slow. It typically takes at least 4-6 weeks to get paid and for some gigs you’ll have to use your own money to purchase products. What kind of world are we living in now??? As a gig worker, we need weekly (or at least biweekly) pay to survive. Ive worked on more than 10 shifts in the past month and did not receive one single payment as of yet. NOT worth your time! And I’m also concerned about the security of personal info. One of the agents that I worked for asked me to send over my SSN and bank account details over emails which I don’t feel comfortable with. NEVER share your social security # via email!!Show lessExtremely slow and in insecure payment

I’ve been using this app for nearly one month. Here are the things I noticed:
- Payment is EXTREMELY slow. Some of the agencies that I’ve worked with include Jancyn and Front Row. For Jancyn, the payment is sent 5-6 weeks after shop is submitted; and for Front Row, they use CHECKS for payment and the first check won’t be mailed out until two weeks after. They do have options to set up direct deposit but you have to send your SSN and bank account details through emails which I don’t feel comfortable with. What kind of world are we living in now??? As a gig worker, we need weekly (or at least biweekly) pay to survive. My first shift was in April and Ive worked on more than 10 shifts in the past month and did not receive one single payment so far. This is intolerable.
- Pay is just a little above minimum wage for the area I’m living in. And a lot of times you have to purchase products using your own money first before getting reimbursed at least one month later.Show less
