Very bad application

Don’t download kymoco app

Useless

This really is such as useless app.
So inconsistent with connecting, loading maps, and totally unreliable. Very disappointing especially as I purchased a brand new bike to use these features!
Yes, I’ve gone through all the settings etc, but it’s still such a let down from kymco there’s literally no point using this system

It does work

I left an earlier review that was not good…this app was very hard to understand and use. This is why I have taken one star off, but now that I found the nuance…you need to slide the images to get to customize things. Do not click the side dots…slide your finger up on the central image to be prompted to customize the clock, weather, etc. I would like to remove my previous comments…because this app does work…better instructions would be better. The FAQs showed videos with a totally different looking app.

Maps keep freezing mid-trip

The maps freeze up, mid-trip, so I have to pull over somewhere to restart. Sometimes only after 4-5 times of restarting the bike and app it works. Very frustrating as you can imagine. Especially in cases of high traffic or running late or an unknown area. Safety hazard. Any tips to fix? App is up to date.

This app doesn’t work—developer can’t fix.

This app straight-up doesn’t work. I have a brand-new iPhone 14 Pro. I have been “communicating” with the developers (and you’ll notice I used quotes) to try and “figure out what the problem is”.

The app won’t recognize my VIN number even though the developers said they fixed that issue (they didn’t). They always respond “take screenshots or video so we can better understand the problem”—I assume they will reply to this message the same way—but they NEVER resolve the issue.

Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE this scooter, it’s a s2022 Kymco Like 150i Noodoe, but this app SUUUUUCKS! They shouldn’t have even included the option on this bike if it didn’t work. It’s actually a detriment and very frustrating. I’m a tech-professional and this app is just embarrassingly bad.

Works perfectly

Used it on a hired AK550. Connected easily, simple to register and use. Downloaded maps to my phone, but needed to restart app before navigation allowed me to plot a new route. I was initially put off by the 1* review and nearly didn’t bother installing the app, but I’m glad I did. It’s great!

Won’t even connect…

It’s a shame because the bike is incredible. This app, however, is useless.

Bad app

I agree with the previous reviewer’s, the app is a disaster. I have an iPhone 12 with the latest iOS upgrade.I have been going back-and-forth with the developer several times only to get generic answers that do not help to improve my problem with the app. The dealer cannot help because there is no dedicated dealer support line. The system came with a bike so I had no choice to deselect it. If you have an iPhone be aware that this app it’s not functional, at least on mine, customer support is horrific, a waste of weight and resources on Kymko’s end. This is very disappointing! Bike’s great!

Very pleasantly surprised

Before I picked up my new bike a couple of days ago, I wondered how bad this App may be but now I have the bike, an AK550, I’m pleasantly surprised by how the Noodoe system works. I’ve used the map function a few times and it’s excellent. My bike is displaying the maths chalkboard clock dial which is just so cool. As I say, I’m just about as happy with the App as I am with the truly amazing AK550.

Bad enough to buy a different bike

This app is quite buggy. It is also the only obvious way to set/adjust the time on your dash. I’m driving around with a clock over 80min out of sync because of this stupid app. I’ll probably get a different brand bike next time just to avoid the app.
