About
The "112 Cyprus" application allows for placing 112 emergency calls to the Cyprus Police Data Center for emergency Calls.
Alongside the voice call, additional data will be sent to the Cyprus Police Data Center for emergency Calls.
The data and information will be collected directly by the user the moment that the application is installed on the user's mobile phone. The data and information that will be collected will be retained only on the user's mobile phone where the application is installed and will be sent to the Cyprus Police Data Center for Emergency 112 Calls in order to be stored and linked with the user's call if he/she decides to call in the case of an emergency.
Data sent to the 112 center may include:
- First and Last Name, Gender and Date of Birth.
- Phone number
- Current / Permanent address - City, Street, Number, Post-code and additional information related to the user's address
- Health conditions (e.g. hearing, speech problems etc.)
- Current location of the user or indicated location by the user on the map
