  • Where are the traditional shapes

I’m unclear why there are so many unconventional shapes for quilting. Would it be possible to ad rectangles for log cabin designs? Or Dresden blades or hexagon or squares? Have I missed those shapes in the list? Animal shapes are cute but I find it hard to use for a block.
  • Awful

I got this app to casually make quilt patterns when i’m away from my computer. Once you start making one, you can’t go back and add blocks or colors in your editing process. You’re also limited to the few blocks that are in the app to make anything. Not a fan.
  • keep up the good work

I'm realy excited for 2.0! thanks for telling us about it! I will buy it right when it is realeased if it looks good
  • saves all my quiltssaves all my quilts

I love this app and that I can save and reedit all my quilts
  • runs really smoothly

I generated a quilt at size 50x50 and it was reaaaalllly slow. But that is bigger than I would ever do - for everything smaller then 30x30 it works fast and doesnt make my phine feel like an inferno
  • Developer seems to be working on improving things

There is no way to add sashing or boarders, or put blocks on point. And while you can make custom blocks, not with the default blocks. I would love to see those become available in the future. That being said this app has made leaps and bounds and I hope it continues to improve. As such I’m improving my review. Keep it up!

    Developer Response

Update: Thank you for updating your review! I’m looking for some of my users that have helped provide active and honest feedback to help me test upcoming features and ideas. If you would be willing to be part of the beta test group please let me know by sending my an email at chris@creativegreenlight.com Hi Sugerrose, while you may search you won’t find anything nearly as useful hence I made Quiltler. I did so releasing a basic version with updates coming. Good luck on your search. Update: your feedback has been noted and updates to resolve these are being done. You should be pleased to find that you can now change the background contrast of the default blocks which really helps to make it customizable. You can also now have patterns up to 35x35 due to come optimizations. The reason for the limit is mostly because of hardware capabilities. If you find time please try the new features and let me know if you have issues. Thanks, Chris
  • good variety

There is a good variety of the default blocks and I like that I can just change the colors really fast but the color changes don't work for my own uploded images.
  • Pleasant to use

I use this with my club, we compare ideas and come up with ideas. It would wonderful if there was some kind of collaborative mode.
  • Needs more features

I really would like to upload fabric prints instead of only being able to choose colors when making my own blocks. For example, upload photos of my fabric and then be able to use the fabric photos to create new blocks like HSTs, etc.

    Developer Response

Hi Lizzy, you can upload your own blocks! From the top just select the custom patterns option and from there you can create custom quilts by uploading or taking pictures of your custom patterns! Happy designing! Thanks, Quiltler Team
  • It’s a good idea

Not really a fan of how it’s set up, I wish you could just choose any color when you’re making the quilts instead of only being able to use colors from ones you manually have to enter Into color schemes and then you can only use those themes when experimenting, I don’t think it’s was worth $8
